What a wonderful finca. So nice and comfortable to stay there. Very charming, kind people there. And from there to make the trip to the Pune desert. After 10 days back to Valentina to stay again 2 days . A wonderful experience , we will never miss

We stayed twice in the finca. The hotel is absolutely beautiful as are its surroundings.
Both our rooms were big and decorated with great taste, like the other public areas of this hotel.
It is remote from Salta, but the staff will call you taxi if you want to head into Salta.
We had breakfast and our dinners at the hotel. The kitchen staff do a great job. So far the best hotel we had in Argentina. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We booked into this small finca when a nearby one closed shortly before our arrival. We're pleased we had to change - this is one of the most idyllic and relaxing hotels we've stayed in. It is on a small estate about 30 minutes' drive from the centre of Salta towards the foothills of the Andes, and comprises a main house with reception, dining and living rooms, as well as a couple of guest rooms. The other guest rooms are in bungalows in the grounds. There is a small pool in the grounds. Service is informal but efficient. The rooms are spacious and stylish/rural, with lovely, local artesanal fabrics and artefacts. The restaurant serves a set menu dinner (with options for vegetarians and special dietary needs) after complementary drinks on the terrace, in a wonderfully informal living/dining room - dining is a very sociable experience here! Buffet breakfast and a la carte lunches/snacks are also served there or in your room. The food is absolutely delicious! A really good base to relax whilst visiting NW Argentina.

We stopped at Finca Valentina for 1 night on the way between Tilcara and Cafayate. Judging by the guest book, everyone else staying there was doing the same thing, in one direction or the other.

It’s a beautiful property and a pleasant stay. The rooms are lovely. The dinner available (no menu choice) was of good quality and a reasonable price, as was the accompanying wine. It would be easy for them to take advantage of the fact that it’s a pain for people to go anywhere else to eat, but they didn’t do that, which is to their credit.

The breakfast was fairly standard – well, certainly better than average, but nothing to write home about. WiFi was a bit temperamental due to a service provider issue, but they did their best to get it fixed and allowed us to tether from a mobile phone to download maps before we left.

The location is obviously a bit out of town (that’s the point), but it would be convenient for Salta airport.

It was a delight to stay here with our girls for 3 nights. The Finca is lovely, with a beautiful garden (we even saw a humming bird!). The horse riding is great fun and both girls (aged 11 and 8) were able to take part and particularly enjoyed crossing a river on horseback! The dinners are delicious and good value.
