The hotel is small with 8 rooms or so in a residential neighbourhood. It seems to be more of a converted big house than a hotel. Magdalena was helpful and looked after us. The hotel is a bit out of the way. It is up a hill and the nearest restaurant is about 5 minutes away but to get to town is at least 30 mins walking. The hotel is very charming with a nice pool and breakfast. There was a bit of an issue getting an early breakfast but otherwise all was fine. If you want to be closer to the action then you should stay in town. The rooms were quiet and clean and comfortable. Internet was fine.

Room Tip: Any room should be fine

We've been traveling Argentina and Chile for 3 months. This was one of the nicest places we stayed in. I can't really think of a negative thing to say! The staff was unbelievably helpful and courteous. I mentioned I was allergic to wheat...next day, the owner found a friend to bake me bread and another item to help supplement breakfast! This is just a sample of how they try to make you feel at home. Also, this hotel is situated in a very upscale neighborhood with no other hotels around, just nice homes so you feel like you're really staying in some huge house. I can't recommend this enough.

I can't fault this hotel - we had 2 nights booked however a few days prior to our stay our flight to salta was delayed (we were supposed to go direct to Tilcara and return to salta and stay at Kkala) so we needed to find somewhere quickly to stay late at night. We knocked on the door around 10:30pm and the staff went out of there way to help us! We were so thankful to be accommodated. When we returned a few days later we stayed in the Nevado room which we were upgraded to. Faultless. Beautiful room, bathroom and jacuzzi. There was an issue with the shower head and staff went above and beyond to fix it and compensate with wine which was very much appreciated! The breakfast is amazing as well but the staff are what make this hotel. So so helpful and friendly, I wish staff all hotels had staff like this. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and it's such a nice area of Salta - such a quick and cheap taxi to town it is nice to be away from it to sleep. Good restaurants nearby too which are in walking distance so you won't miss staying in town!

We stayed at Kkala for two nights having been on a ranch riding for a few days, we really needed some relaxation and that was exactly what we got!
The design of the hotel is lovely - it's immaculately clean and modern. Our room was surprisingly spacious with a gorgeous bathroom and view of the pool (which is just paradise surrounded by mountains)

All staff were so polite and willing to help. We had laundry done returned on the same day- and the room service empanadas are fab!

It's a general stroll into town which takes 30 mins or a taxi is around 40pesos and only a few mins.

If you are in Salta you won't find anywhere more charming or relaxing than this place!

We stayed here for three nights and from the moment of arrival, knew it was something really special. Everywhere you turn there are lovely decorations and items of interest charactaristic of the area. Located in an upscale residential area it is totally quiet which is especially great because the Centro of Salta is so vibrant and hectic. Getting to the Central area is a short inexpensive taxi ride or an interesting walk of about 45 minutes. The rooms, the breakfast room, the lounge/lobby, the pool area are all perfectly appointed. And the breakfasts super yummy with offerings for every set of tastebuds. Thanks to Ariel and the staff for a great stay.
