I visited Rueda 1975 having read good reviews both here and in Lonely Planet, and was not disappointed. The restaurant has a sophisticated ambience, the staff are friendly and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. I can also highly recommend the house Malbec which is sold by the (very large) glass - delicious.
I had the langoustines with surabi followed by the fillet steak with Malbec sauce. Both delicious and huge portions. The steak was admittedly less tender than I’ve had elsewhere but it was well cooked and tasty. The dessert menu also looked very good but I couldn’t manage to eat any more! The bill for 2 courses plus wine and water (and complementary bread basket) came to 800 pesos - around £30. Well worth it for quality of food, service and atmosphere.
