We stayed at the hotel for two nights and loved it! it feels like a little oasis and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and well presented, probably the best breakfast I've had in a hotel. We dined in the restaurant once and feel it's quite expensive for what they offer. The food was not that tasty.

Once you step inside the walls of the Duque, you feel as if you've stepped in to your own private resort. Micheal greeted us with a glass of champagne and checkin went smoothly. Micheal and Simona and staff could not do enough for us! They were so gracious and kind. Breakfast was complete and wonderful (also a work of art) and we enjoyed dining on the outdoor patio, next to the pool and jacuzzi. Each room is like a smal bungalow, Spacious and spotless! Even a small jacuzzi tub. You can lounge out side in hammock, sit by the pool and I enjoyed a wonderful massage outdoors! They happily arranged our transportation with "Julio" and our trip to the falls was flawless. We did dine in the "restaraunt" one night. Dinner was rather expensive and not as "gourmet" as we expected. You can take a bus in to town for a few pesos but there are not many dining options there. We stayed 3 nights and would return there in a heartbeat!

Fiona was great during our 2 day stay: provided recommendations, helpful with our many questions and flexible when we needed breakfast earlier than usual. The hotel is not a boutique hotel, rooms and bathrooms are tired, but the surrounding makes up for it. Breakfast was simple, fresh and tasty and you can have it wherever you want, in room, at pool or inside the restaurant. The coffee was the best I've tasted in BA.

We can only rave about this hotel and enjoyed every minute of our stay. This hotel can set the standards for hotels around the world. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special by Simona (one of the owners) and given all the information we needed to make our visit both to the Brazilian and Argentinian side of the falls wonderful. Service was utterly superb with staff going out of their way to please. The hotel is itself like an oasis with a magnificent swimming pool space and Jacuzzi amidst forest trees and cicada beetles singing - the pool is deeply appreciated in the heat and after a tiring day of sight-seeing. The massage therapist on offer here was brilliant. The chef apparently used to run a Michelin-starred restaurant and dining here is a treat, with attentive service and delicious food. The restaurant is rather pricy but may be the best option in town, and we left each meal feeling that it had been an elegant, romantic experience. Deserts of pear in wine and ice-cream and banana flambé are highly recommended. Perhaps one gripe as vegetarians is that there could be a few more options for us though the menu as a whole is small. Rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. The space here itself is calming and we felt like we were on a spa. The hotel is about 600m from the centre of Puerto Iguazu so it requires a bit of walking if you want to go to the city but there are buses on the main road at half-hour intervals. There is also little reason to go into the town which is not very attractive: we were happy to stay at the hotel and relax most of the time. The hotel is also near the beautiful spot where Paraguay,Brazil and Argentina meet. The hotel also is able to help with arrangements to see the falls (spectacular) and we particularly recommend taking a taxi (our driver Julio was fantastic!) to the Brazilian side of the falls as the taxi helps you avoid long queues at the border and sometimes entering the parks. Breakfasts have the best croissants and, again, the hotel staff were very accommodating of our needs. We felt that the pricing of this hotel gave good value for money in terms of what was being offered which was an overall luxurious, tranquil experience. All in all, this place is an oasis, and we would highly recommend making your stay at Iguazu (already an amazing place) that much better by staying here

Room Tip: All seem great

This is a gorgeous hotel with wonderful service. They hand you a glass of champagne when you arrive and that sets the tone. It's a family run hotel and they help you with everything without being pushy.

The rooms are lovely and very clean. The pool and grounds are a wonderful place to spend a lazy afternoon. It's a 10 min walk to town and the bus that takes you to Iguazu park is a block away. I highly recommend this place!
