The tour guides at this winery were great! There was a mini history lesson followed by information on how they produce the wines. I recommend the sparkling wine!

We just got into San Raphael and my husband booked us this wine tour. We stayed at the towers just up the road so 5 minutes away. Great location What a nice place everyone was welcoming and friendly. My husband and I were alone on the tour, I think because we speak English and not Spanish. Dianne took us on the tour. She was such a lovely lady. Her English was beautiful she tried so hard. She was very informative and interesting. We loved how the wine Is still made the old way. All the original equipment Is still been used to this very day. They even turn the champagne bottles by hand one by one. Dianne made the tour for us and you are truly blessed to have her on your team.

This place is brought to life by the history of its founder and family. The tour was very informative and thorough. Since its the oldest winery in the region and much of the same machinery is still being used, I found this to be one of the more unique wineries we visited in the area.
You can access the vineyard by bike or a long walk if you didn't rent a car. But it's a hit and dusty walk. I still thought it was worth it, even if the tastings were a little skimpier than other places.

The winery is perhaps not the best example of up to date wine making activities, but it is undoubtedly worth the visit because it stands at the heart of the foundation of the town of San Rafael

The story of the family is the story of the settlers who chose to invest their money and know how in these far away lands

The wine we tasted was good, but not extraordinary.

This is an excellent way in which to learn about the founding fathers and the origins of the city of San Rafael (province of Mendoza, Argentina), as well as to see first hand how wine was made by them at that time and is still being produced today. It is a postcard sort of place, nothing too extensive or sumptuous, but most appealing, warm and inviting. The wines are varied, of excellent quality and excellently priced - great value and well worth it. Their naturally fermented champagne, the Brut Nature, is exquisite and among the best bubblies I've had the pleasure to taste and enjoy. I have returned twice and hope to repeat the visit many more times.
