The walls could do with a fresh lick of paint, but this clean, modern hotel ticks most of the boxes for what you want from a mid-range place to stay: good value, decent rooms and great location.

On top of that, the staff are wonderful. The guys at reception are very helpful and I was particularly impressed with the maid who refused a substantial tip, despite my urging, after finding my missing bus ticket.

Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Argentina.

The rooms are wildly overpriced. The building is a high-rise monstrosity. The interior reception area is huge and sterile. The hotel's surroundings are inhospitable except for a generic shopping mall across the street. No restaurant is available off-site without taking a taxi ride. Check-in is interminable, with employees required to demand a passport of every guest, not just the person who has the room. Most guests must pay for Internet use by the hour. The rooms are soul-less. Believe it or not, it is impossible to turn on the bathroom light from the inside, and the outside switch also turns on the room lights. If anyone uses the bathroom at night, everyone else in the room will be treated to overhead lights turning on. Can you imagine?
Unless you enjoy cigarette smoke, stay away from the bar lounge. Smoke from the attached casino constantly creeps in, making the non-smoker rush for the exits.
The breakfast bar is good, the hotel's only redeeming feature.
Mendoza has many fine hotels. Stay away from this one and book a room closer to downtown.

We stayed at the Internacional Hotel for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier! We had been planning on trekking in the Cordon del Plata, but cut our time short due to weather. The first hotel we stayed at was very dated and we knew we didn't want to stay there any length of time. After one night we called around and this hotel had vacancy. We didn't have a reservation but were given a corner room at a great price! The room was very clean and had everything we needed! The continental breakfast was very good with a choice of croissants, baked goods, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice. Customer service was very good and all the staff spoke English. While we were there there was a wine tasting festival right in front of the hotel. This event was very enjoyable especially since the street in front of the Hotel was closed to traffic during the day. Overall, a great stay! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our time in Mendoza. We especially liked the wine tasting! We did a self-guided bicycle tour of the wineries in Chacas De Coria which I highly recommend. The bike rental place we used was Baccus which was excellent! They will give you a map with suggestions which was quite easy to follow. They have good quality bikes available (Trek). We also biked to various wineries in Maipu. If you only have time for one bike/wine tour, choose Baccus in Chacas De Coria. I enjoyed the setting much more than Maipu because we didn't have to share the road with industrial traffic

Great value. We loved being in the middle of town, access to great restaurants and could walk throughout the city. The room on the street side was so loud! However, what with the late night eating custom we were so tired by the time we got in it didn't really matter. Helpful staff. Breakfast was good but nothing excellent. Pool is smallish, uncharming, and around the corner.

Location is great, very near the main plaza and it is along a street with lots of good restaurants. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast could be better and also the bathrooms. Wifi was quite weak in our room on the 5th floor.

Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel.
