In a statement "Loved it"!!
We were greeted by Rosanna on the jetty straight off the boat and led to our room which looked out over the river.
A delicious Asado cooked to perfection by Juan the extraordinaire Farm Supervisor, Animal lover and all-round legend. Food was fantastic the entire time. We enjoyed 2 nights at Bonanza. Wishing we'd had longer to stay.
Canoe up river one evening and a lovely walk around the perimeter of the wonderful estate. The bird life was spectacular as was the reserved and protected plant life. The perfect location for some R&R.
We're based in Uruguay at present and discovered we can get to Tigre from Colonia by boat. Looking forward to returning here as soon as we can.

We had a nice time at Bonanza Deltaventura. We did the horse riding and rowing activities at 900 pesos per person (which included the activities, the boat to and from Tigre, lunch, afternoon tea, however no drinks as they cost extra), both were good, we enjoyed them! The BBQ lunch was good, however it is ridiculous that not even one drink is included.

Online booking process would do the business well and make the lives of tourists a whole lot easier. To get there, as we stayed in Palermo, we had to take 2 trains to get to Tigre which took 1.45 hours, then the boat down the river which took 1.5hours.

Please do note the owners etc. do not speak any English, therefore a minimum level of Spanish is required for the activities.

All in all a nice day out!

I just came back from Bonanza Deltaventura and it was a wonderful. If somebody is looking for a real Delta experience I highly recommend it. The food was delicious, the attention superb, Rosana is a delightful host filled with love for the Delta and ready to share it. It is rustic and cozy and homy.
I want to come back as soon as I will be back in BA.
Thank you!!

This is a peaceful oasis where you can just relax in quiet (especially after the boats stop running). Food, especially the parillo (grill) was very good. The horseback rides, and walks (guided or on your own) bring you in touch with the natural world of the Delta. Overnight accommodations were clean and comfortable. TV; computer; coffee, tea, and mate; and books available. Hosts were friendly, helpful, accomodating. This “destination” is very low key (by U.S. standards); NOT full of noise and sales-pushing. I am a U.S. naturalist and learned a lot from the guide, Rosanna, (in very good English) on the plants, animals, wetlands, and historical land use. She was able to arrange for a boat tour of the natural history of the Delta for us. I found it very comfortable, friendly, and informative. I recommend Deltaventura for the person looking to relax, explore nature, and learn.

it was interesting but not quite what advertised. We did go horse-riding, in a line round a narrow track. we did swim in the river - but there wasnt a beach. we didnt see much of a park. the barbeque lunch was great, but otherwise the food wasnt up to much. we did enjoy our guide to 'mate' drinking with Rosanna, who was really great. it would have been better to stay for a day rather than 3 days break
