Lounge on the chaise or snuggle up in one of the many other nooks.
The apartment takes up the entire 4th floor. There is an elevator and a beautiful entryway.
Throughout the home you'll find original doors and windows, high ceilings, & beautiful floors.
The dining room is straight out of Argentina's heyday and the Belle Epoque.
Set the table. The tall French doors open up to a small juliet balcony overlooking Calle Peru.
Hallway from dining room to bedrooms and bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a full bed. It's along the hallway down from the dining room and reading room.
Freshly remodeled, we worked to keep the vibe of the era. Antique furniture and updated necessities.
Take a hot bath after a long day of sightseeing.
The bathroom in the hallway has a tub/shower and beautiful stained glass window.
Throughout the house, you will find beautiful surprises.
Bedroom 2 has a full bed and doors to the hallway and Bedroom 3.
Each bedroom has an armoire, windows, and air conditioner.
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom.
From the hallway, go through Bedroom 2 to get to Bedroom 3 and its en-suite bathroom.
The en-suite bathroom has both a full bathtub and a walk-in shower.
Bedroom 4 is the most whimsical. It's the last one, down the second hallway, towards the kitchen.
A full bed, dresser, nightstand, armoire and window, just like in the other three bedrooms.
In the back of the house, near Bedroom 4 and the kitchen is the last full bathroom.
The third bathroom is the smallest. It has a shower only, no tub.
Second hallway leads to the kitchen.
Head over to the Mercado de San Telmo for groceries, then back here to get dinner ready.
Lots of storage space, lots of cooking space, bright green walls and plenty of windows.
Finally, the half-bath is perfect for touching up your makeup before a night out.
Adorable half-bath.

“Fabulous apartment in a great area”
Reviewed 8 November 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Casa Bohemia is a great place to stay, right in the heart of San Telmo. The apartment is very spacious, with lots of character and charm. The information provided by the hosts on things to see and do in the area was incredibly helpful. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms it is ideal for a large group of friends or family. The only thing that could be improved would be if the kitchen was a bit better equipped with utensils and appliances.

My wife and I stayed a full 7 nights with another couple in Casa Bohemia, and we all agree that we would insist on staying there, again, should we return to BA. The apartment is unbelievably large and the pictures really don't do it justice. Every bedroom - all four + - have large, ornately carved wooden armoires so you can actually unpack, and there are period-looking furnishings and finishes throughout Every part of it exudes the faded charm abundant in San Telmo. The manager, Grisel, was very communicative and both prior to our arrival and during our stay. We arranged to use their transportation liaison from the airport to the apartment where she met us and introduced us to the flat on the 4th floor (5th to fellow Americans), which you reach via a really charming elevator. We found the apartment to be well stocked and very clean. I doubt it's possible to escape street noise while staying anywhere in the city, and that's true of this apartment, as well. But it does help that it's located on a higher floor and that the bedrooms are located away from the street. We did use our earplugs, though, when sleeping through the city's morning rush hour after late nights out. The front parlor and dining room are huge and are bathed in light during the morning. Every bedroom has its own, new air conditioner which we didn't need often, but were grateful to have on a few of the warmer days. As for San Telmo, it may seem a little "sketchie" at first, but we quickly started to see the real charm of the area, and never felt uncomfortable. In fact, strolling through the area after dark is highly recommended. The apartment is located on Peru, which runs North/South between Esatados Unidos and Independencia. Note that most tourist maps do not orient to North. I recommend fully exploring the streets Peru, Bolivar, Defensa, and Balcarse, and thier cross-streets east of the apartment. Don't bother with the streets west of Peru as there's really not much to see. There's a bakery on the corner of Peru and Estados Unidos that's just OK, but a much better one is farther up Peru between Carlos Calvo and Humberto Primero, on the right side when walking from the apartment. Try their little churros filled with dulce de leche. All the restaurants we tried in the are were good and service was friendly. The Sunday Market on Defensa is a must if you are in town. The best of it lies between Plaza Dorrego and Independencia, though it does extend all the way into downtown. Two last recommendations, first, is for the Tango show Taconeando. It's located just a few blocks from the apartment, in an intimate venue, and it isn't crazy-expensive like many of the others geared toward tourists. It's excellent, and is well reviewed on Trip Advisor. Second recommendation is the "ultimate city tour" with Biking Buenos Aires. It was fantastic and departs just a block away from the apartment. Enjoy!
