Lovely room on the second floor on a narrow street in San Telmo across from the market square, we were treated to a warm, brick-walled room with plenty of character, intriguing art on the walls, and friendly service. And then there was the food. Salsa were garden fresh and flavorful, with nice balance of acidity and sweetness. Our risottos (one red wine and pancetta, one black truffle and wild mushroom) were presented perfectly al dente and dripping with parmigiano reggiano and rich flavor. Wine list extremely approachable with great value, and desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. The owner, Sebastian, came over to personally welcome us (and answered the phone when we had called for a late last minute reservation). Great food, great vibe, great value.
