Interesting Boutique Hotel

Recolta is an excellent property in an interesting neighborhood. Close to the Cemetery and good restaurants.

Check in was fast and efficient. We were in our room in less than 10 minutes after arrival. Front desk staff were obviously on top of their game since we were greeting by name. This has happened at some very high end properties or hotels where you arrive at 2 am, but this was the middle of the afternoon. Not sure how they accomplished this but it was very surprising considering the hotel looked to be very busy.

Room was very nice and was bigger than we expected. Everything was super clean.

Bar area was nothing special but the bartender and server were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. This is the same area where the included breakfast is served. Breakfast is not over the top but certainly has everything that you would need.

Overall we couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

Great Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is in a great location, with a 24 hour mini shop close by and a pizza restaurant nearby too. Also fantastic steak restaurant (El Estrebe) nearby (about 5 minutes walk).
Back to the hotel. Reception was really helpful, stall always friendly. They helped us with various questions, booked taxis and transfers and recommended restaurants.
Room was nice, one of the biggest hotel rooms ever. No view! Big king size bed. There was a fridge and microwave (but only cups and glasses in the cupboards). There was also a sofa and a desk. Bathroom was clean, with corner shower.
Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Some hot food, fresh fruit, yogurts, lots of pastries, bread (there was a toaster), jams etc. Coffee and fruit juices.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening. Gabriel always seemed to be working, he was very friendly. Had nice meals. The apple crumble pudding was delicious. We had some lunchtime snacks too. All good value.
Good location, friendly staff, clean hotel - what more could you ask for.

Excellent small hotel in great location

Our family group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. We were in Recoleta so close to the cemetery, other sights and great shopping areas. Our rooms were huge with all modern comforts. The breakfast was outstanding, with so much choice and of very high quality. Staff were warm and welcoming and helped willingly when our airport transfer failed to arrive on time. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staff

Great small hotel in Recoleta near everything. Room comfortable. Breakfast great. Staff was amazing- friendly and extremely helpful with everything. Would stay there again. Staff helped us with directions, restaurants and airline tickets. Used.spa on day of afternoon of traveling day before leaving. Nice and very private.

Lovely hotel in a popular tourist area

Stayed at the Arc Recoleta on 3 separate occasions during our 3 weeks in Argentina.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the hotel held the bulk of our luggage for a few nights while we undertook a trip to Uruguay.
Each of the different class of rooms we stayed in were of a good size and very comfortable. The rooms are reasonably priced.
At breakfast while there were just a few hot items there was plenty of choice of other items. On one occasion we enjoyed a nice evening meal at the hotel. There are a number of bars and restaurants close by and also two small Carrefour Express supermarkets for water and other drinks etc.
The rooftop pool while not large has loungers in the area and there’s also a covered area with comfortable chairs.
Uber and other taxis are far from expensive in Buenos Aires and we used them extensively as well as walking. Recoleta itself has interesting places to visit; so we considered the hotel very convenient to access all that Buenos Aires has to offer.
Of all the hotels we used during our month long trip in South America we considered the Arc Recoleta along with the Hotel Tolosa in Porthy Madryn the best.
Sadly after checking out of the hotel and sitting in reception tracking our taxi a piece of luggage was stolen. However we were very grateful for the response of the staff especially the Hotel Operations Manager who as well as being very concerned took us to the Police Station liaising with the Police and helping file the report.
