Imagine your average Chinese restaurant that doesn't serve any meat. That's Siempre Verde. Not spectacular, but not bad either. They offer a variety of fake meats. I tried the fake beef, and it was okay. As a vegetarian, I was just happy to have more than the usual two vegetarian options that you find on menus at Argentine restaurants. Also, this place is really cheap: I paid just $7 (USD) for a ton of food. I couldn't finish all of it I was so stuffed.
To get here, I took the D line of the Subte to Juramento and walked over about 5 blocks to Arribeños. Arribeños is right across the train tracks on your left, and Siempre Verde is a half a block down.
