We stayed 4 nights at this hotel over New Years. The staff really makes the place special. Igmar and Juan along with the breakfast staff were always working hard to make our stay nice. The location is excellent. We would definitely stay in this neighborhood again. We had a deluxe room which is their largest; it was quite small but adequate. The bathroom is minuscule- probably the biggest con of staying here. Breakfast was fine for us and we appreciated the coffee bar available all day. The windows must be excellent quality because the hotel is situated right off a busy street and the windows provided excellent soundproofing for our street facing room. Everything was very clean in the hotel.

Having read reviews on numerous websites about the Duque Hotel we decided to stay here after our cruise ended in Buenos Aires. We were delighted with this choice! It is a small, old world hotel with excellent service and a cozy, comfortable feel to it.
All of the front desk personnel are helpful and speak English. All of their recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing were spot on! The location of this property allowed us to walk to everything we wanted to do and see in the Palermo area and would be a quick cab ride to other parts of the city. This area is SOHO Buenos Aires and was hip, young and energetic. It had one-of-a-kind shops, fun street art, an artisan market on Saturday and was in walking distance to the Botanical, Japanese and Rose Gardens as well as the zoo.
We had a nice room with king size bed and a glassed walk-in shower. The hotel provided robes. A/C was remote controlled. Breakfast was nice.
If you enjoy old world charm in a great location, you'll like the Duque. If we ever get back to Buenos Aires, we would stay here again.

We spent only one night at this little boutique hotel located in the animated Palermo district of BA. From the moment we landed from Europe we got a personal WhatsApp message from the receptionist on duty to welcome us and confirm that our booked taxi was waiting for us. Upon arrival we were allowed an early check-in and Igmar, the kind receptionist, helped us with all our quiries from money Exchange, booking of sightseeing, dinner recommendations, flight check-in etc. Room was clean and bright, beds comfortable, the spa, sauna and pool well-functioning. A water fountain with cold water would make the place Perfect. Breakfast in the homely and bright little spaces packed intelligently into the relatively small place available was also a treat. Especially the freshly and home baked pastries and the omelettes made to order were delicious. Price for the stay absolutely value for money and location in a quiet yet lively part of town - this will also be our choice when next time in BA.
