Charming boutique hotel in Palermo Soho. Immaculate rooms, small but comfortable and cheerful. Pleasant common areas: dining room, bar, library, pool, spa and exercise room. Fresh complementary breakfast and all-day coffee service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff provided helpful guidance on attractions, services, transportation and restaurants and made restaurant and transportation reservations. We booked because of high Trip Advisor rating, which is well deserved.

Room Tip: back room was quiet and sunny.

We enjoyed a week at this hotel. The rooms are a bit small and the front rooms have street noise but we stayed at the back and if you don't intend to hang out in your room all day then it's comfortable as there is are outdoor and indoor common areas to relax in.
The staff are genuine lovely people. The day spa is free to use, wonderful after a day sight seeing. Tea coffee hot chocolate are available at the breakfast room all day. Good security.

Room Tip: Not near the street.

My husband and I had always wanted to visit Argentina and we were not disappointed.

We found this Hotel on trip advisor and had been recommended the area of BA from friends.

We only booked 1 night at first as we wanted to travel around, we ended up staying 10 nights of our 3 weeks in South America.

The hotel is located in a very trendy part of the city with fantastic restaurants and great late night bars.

It is a great location to head into the main areas of BA and the hotel staff were so helpful during our stay,

They recommended so many things and helped make reservations and booked day tours for us, they were so friendly and accommodating and we really appreciated everything they did.

The Hotel itself is wonderful, clean, modern decor lovely rooms with comfortable beds.

The outside area is relaxing and really nice to relax in and read and enjoy a coffee.

The gym is very basic just a bike and treadmill. However, we did go for a few runs whilst we were there and it was a great way to get a feel for the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend to everyone.

The staff really do make this hotel a gem and we hope to visit again and wish them all the best.

Thanks
Helen and Ed Costello

Pros:
Location
Value
Booking
Services

Cons:
Room size
Noise
Lighting

Duque is conveniently located in Palermo Soho. It's close to good restaurants, attractions, and the subte. The staff was bilingual and very helpful. We booked a superior room. Our room was nice, but small, noisy, and a bit dark during the day and too bright at night (the shade wasn't light canceling at night).

We also enjoyed their breakfast. They offered the typical Argentine fare, but also included eggs, which was a welcomed addition. Our favorite part was their 24hour coffee service. Their spa and pool were lovely after a long day of walking and seeing the sights.

One of the things we appreciated the most was that we were able to reserve our room online. Seemed like a lot of hotels require a fax or email of your credit card to "secure" your reservation.

Dear Guest,

We wanted to thank you for posting your feedback about your experience with us.
Your opinion is very important tool for us to keep improving our services in the hotel.
We are glad that you had a great time here with us and about the size of the rooms we are sorry if you found them a little bit smaller but for us a being a small boutique hotel it is hard to extend our physical space but we think that is part of our charm. Greetings from all of the el Duque staff.

We spent one last night in Buenos Aires after a week in Patagonia, before returning home. We took a chance on this small hotel and we lucked out. It was in a quiet residential location and walking distance from the subway. The staff were bilinqual and very helpful finding restaurants nearby. The breakfast was remarkable and even included a made to order omelet. The room was very modern as was the bathroom. We absolutely would stay here again.
