We had the misfortune of staying at Lynns when the hotel we booked had made a mistake and had let our room to someone else!! So they send us to lynns!!!
Well, on the positive the bed was quite comfy so we did sleep (maybe cos we were exhausted after 28 hours traveling!), and the location is good in Palermo. Some of the staff were friendly....BUT that's all the positives. Room was really run down looking, cracks in the floor, needed a deep clean and redecorate to say the least. Nowhere to hang clothes!! Nowhere even to put our cases apart from on the bed .... just no room. Generally felt very grubby, run down, and cramped. We were told we would get a larger more comfortable room the next day, so we decided to stay rather than have to look for another hotel late at night. Next morning were told the room we were to move to would not be ready til later - so we went out for morning. Afternoon we came back and were told we could not have the larger room after all!! ( I wonder if there ever was a larger room) . As we were leaving next day we just couldnt face looking for another place so decided to stay....
Breakfast was acceptable the first day - tho not much of it. Second day no juice - were told they had not got any....so bread and coffee and tiny dish of preserves.... poor show.
There are much nicer hotels and cheaper in the area - so DONT GO TO LYNNS!
