I'm a 35 year old porteño and these are the best empanadas I've had, ever. Excellent! The best Carne picante

The empanadas are good and different from the ones you usually have in Argentina. Different but not better either I would say. Service is just ok though, not very friendly.

After years of walking by, we finally stopped in for a lunch of empanadas. Very casual place. Ideal for a quick bite. The spicy ones really are spicy and delicious.

I am not an expert on empanadas, but this place had the most heavenly empanadas I have ever eaten in my life. They had many different choices of fillings, and they are freshly-baked when you order them. It is very casual - lots of dads getting empanadas to-go, but we did not feel out of place having a romantic dinner with a bottle of wine. The stews were delicious too. P.S. If you like spicy food, bring your own hot sauce. Argentinians do not like spicy food, and the "picante" here is not that spicy.
