We stayed as a couple here in early June along with some friends . I will be honest in my review ! I have put in a complaint with Thomas Cook as so disappointed with our stay. ( as have many others ! ) This hotel is advertised as a quiet , peaceful hotel and it's not !! every day there is music blaring from the bar at the pool . We arrived at about 3am and were hoping for a lie in ! No chance, music blasting out from around 10am , this goes quiet when the reps are due to visit ! There is absolutely no service from the waiters so be prepared to get your own drinks. The drinks are very limited and the vodka wasn't that great ( if it was vodka ! I heard another couple saying he had stomach problems and he was sure it was the vodka ) The only time we ever got offered a drink was when the 2 thomas cook reps were on a visit . Glasses are never cleared away from the pool area and seemed to sit there for days, along with plates ,
Take good walking shoes as the floors are very slippery ! The worst bits are in the dining room and around the pool . I witnessed one lady slip over in the dining room one lunchtime, another guest helped her up and the staff stood around , the chef simply shouted no problem madam because a plate had been broken , none of them offered her any help or asked her if she was ok.
The food is very basic, bland and very repetitive so we ate out a lot . Chips appear every day , even for breakfast . I have visited Turkey many times and this was the worst food I have tasted in any hotel that claims to be 4 star. I would say 2 star maximum . I heard several people complaining about the food , one made us laugh saying 'same sh** , different day ! ' bluntly put but very truthful . The rooms are ok but there is lots of noise from the bar at night so you don't ever get a great night's sleep . Air con is noisy , when you turn if off it drips water on your bed so you either sleep roasting or buy ear plugs ! The bedding is rubbish. Normally abroad we just use a cotton sheet but here you have an itchy blanket or a cover that is not comfortable on the skin .
It's about £14 per week to hire the safe , these are small and no good for cameras etc. The beach isn't their beach . Don't go as you have to buy all your food and drink from a cafe there and the prices are well over the top . We refused to stay there and the guy on the beach was quite rude .
I complained to the rep who was called Josh ! He admitted that there had been noise issues at night but did nothing to help us move room or hotel .
We would never recommend this hotel to anyone we liked . It is poorly run and needs sorting out in many areas . This hotel could be stunning with decent food, good service and staff willing to smile without you lining their palm with money , everyone likes a tip but life should not be ruled by it.
Pick another hotel !! we heard the Yel resort down the road was very nice .

Room Tip: Choose another hotel where they understand what good service is !!

We would like apoligize for the issue regarding your room/meals and hope that did not came you too much inconvenince and upset to the begining of your holiday, this is obviously not how we want our quests to feel.
-We note it what do you want about your comments. We will do it asap.
-Glasses are washing in washing machine and please be honest about it.
-All bevarege is orginal and pure. You are very suspect about everything.
-Dining room or another facilities are cleaning when you were resting after meals or after service othervice we can not keep clean everywhere.400 persons live inhouse.
I think you have a prejudice against our hotel and you advice another hotel in this link.
Regarding your comments about the food that is sure it is almost impossible to make everybody happy on this.I do accept we have increased the service standarts but there are surely more to do as Gastronomy business Asia like Ocean. There are millions of recipes but we are trying to cater accourding to our guest's nationalities.

If you will come again we wil be honoured to accomodate you next time.

If you read some of my previous reviews I always try to give an honest take on wherever we have been - I thibk some of the reviews that have been written about this particular resort are a little unfair .
Folks - you get what you pay for !!
We booked all inclusive £500 per head . Flights , transfers etc

We arrived late ( around midnight) and were offered food and drinks on arrival .
We has booked a villa at the top end of the resort which was spotlessly clean .
It also had its own pool - this was cleaned every morning without fail and we loved it .
We had to call the front desk on 3 occasions - 1 a light bulb wasn't working in one of the bedrooms. 2 the pool lights stopped working 3 cups for the kitchen .. every time the matter was resolved with a short period of time .
The villa is a bit dated but very functional - a little bit of tlc and it would spot on .
The cleaners called every day to work in the villa ... as I say it was spotless . .
4 stars
Food :
we never had one bad meal there .
There is plenty of salads & vegetables every day with a choice of freshly cooked fish or meats . Always rice and pasta .
It's very much a Mediterranean diet - but we're in the Mediterranean right .?
We did go out to other places for food on 2 separate occasions and found those to also be top notch and good value for money .
4 stars
Drinks :
they served vodka , gin and raki . Two of our party were drinking shorts and didn't complain about them - they weren't branded but ok .
They served effes lager which wasn't the best and wasn't very gd ..... I bought some ciders at about £2 a go .
2 stars
The soft drinks are good .
There's coffee , tea on tap . And you can have as many bottles of water as you wish - which is a good idea on the heat .
There's a pizza and hamburger bar that opens mid afternoon .
There's no reason to go hungry here .
Staff:
Everyone we dealt with fom the cleaners through to the manager vulcon (?) were very friendly and helpful .
5 stars
The resort itself :
It's nice - it could do with a little tlc . It's hilly but we were ok with that - there are steps which can make it easier .
Plenty of shrubs and lovely smelling jasmine etc
4 stars

Overall we had a really nice and relaxing stay here . The area is very nice and we will definitely be staying in overcik again .
I know I've rattled on with this review but felt it was only right to put a fair review after reading some of the others. ....

This really is a lovely little place where your made welcome and helped whenever you need it .
And an ideal budget getaway .
We will be returning

We arrived at 3am and the first think we were met with was a charge for the safe at @£14 (all inclusive?) each morning we went to the over 16 infinity pool which was cluttered with broken glasses, from night before, and spilt drink on floor with insect infestation. The floors were not cleaned and were left sticky. The pool bar there was normally not covered so be aware it is a steep climb to return from the other pool bar.

Our room was only cleaned three times in a week and the corridors were left dirty with glasses left outside..

The only thing I can say about the food is that it was passable. Everywhere I have been in the world I have found something I could eat but here on two occasions I left inedible meats.

I recommend that if you want a basic holiday in an under equipped hotel with a very young staff who are not trained to 4 star standard and you do not mind dirty areas that are uncleaned and may have broken glasses left with a limited food choice then this may be the place for you.

If this is not you then avoid it.

Travelled to this hotel for my silver wedding anniversary with Thomas cook on 1st June 2017. We took our daughter and 1 year old granddaughter with us. After just 12 hours we requested a transfer to another hotel! We're given a room next to the top of the slides with metal railings within 5,mins our granddaughter was nearly through them if we had not stopped her god know what would have happened! Food raw! Pool side constantly underwater and extremely slippy and dangerous. Food in restaurant basically uncooked rice and chips and salad and tough chewy meat! All inc. beer and what they describe as wine but basically vinegar and maybe vodka! This is not a purpose built hotel it is converted apartments with single beds tiny rooms and a disused kitchenette. We only stayed one night and moved to a different hotel! We complained to Thomas cook 7 weeks ago and after many calls and e mails have been informed today tough!! They are not prepared to do anything to compensate us for our spoilt holiday because even though whilst in resort the Thomas cook rep completely agreed with all our concerns he now seems to have changed his mind! If you like rough then go if you want a decent holiday avoid like the plague!!

I am here now with my husband and young son. This is our 3rd visit.good food, pools and slides great. Lovely helpful staff. Everything is as we remembered, apart from the entertainment team! They let down the whole ethos of this family hotel. None of the team seem to speak good english so my little boy can't talk to them, that is if they seemed uninterested in talking! They do not seem to want to entertain the guests and only seem interested in things they get commission on such as beach party and bar crawls. The mini disco seems like a chore, there has been no pool game for a few days and they spend all day talking to rach other in the hut. After the previous 2 years this is a great disappointment. My little boy was do looking forward to seeing the team and was very upset that they have gone but also can't understand why the new ones aren't interested in him. Not sure about next year now.
