What a beautiful cottage in a lovely ‘hidden gem’ area of Portugal. We had everything we needed from picinc sets to floating sun loungers! Great facilities including a large kitchen, tv, digital box and DVD player, washing machine, clothes horse, bbq with charcoal provided, bread oven, fridge, freezer, comfy beds with mosquito nets and regular fresh clean linen and towels, sun hats, sun loungers, pool towels, books and brilliant collection of information and maps. A lovely warm welcome and great check in to a clean and well cared for cottage, we even had a welcome basket with organic homemade marmalade, olive oil and fresh organic eggs. The view is stunning, I especially from the beautiful large pool and there are lovely areas to sunbathe or sit in the shade on pretty balconies. A peaceful and tranquil area with hosts that couldn’t do enough for us. Sue and Paul were incredibly helpful, friendly and hospitable and clearly enjoy making sure their guests’ stay is a perfect as possible. Our hosts had great knowledge of the area and recommended some fantastic places to visit along with great historical knowledge and perfect directions. Nothing was ever a problem. We even enjoyed fresh eggs from their lovely chickens nearly every morning and picked organic fresh fruit and veg from their garden which I thought was wonderful. Most noticeable was Sue and Paul’s love of what they do and their constant care and attention in making sure we had the best experience we possibly could. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful stay and keep doing what you’re doing you are perfect for it! We will definitely be back! xx
We stayed with these guys for nearly a month, amazing friendly lovely people we now call close friends or even family! They were so welcoming, considerate and couldn't do more for us as a family of three. Will defs be back as it's in a fab location with a stunning view, setting and location! Thanks Mr and Mrs V!
We stayed here for a month. Perfect location for exploring central Portugal. Close to the beautiful town of Tomar. Lovely little cottage with everything you might need (if not, Paul and Sue will sort).
Swimming pool not heated but useable even in November but it was a quite cold!! (Didn’t put our crazy 4 year old off). Pick oranges straight off the trees to make juice for breakfast and make bread and bake it in minutes in the oven outside! We had a lovely time and it really did feel like Home. We were sad to leave.
