Very dissapointed! We forgot a pair of expensive sport shoues in the room. As we came to pick them up the next day these were ALREADY given to staff’s friends as they were not expecting to see us again. So we had to wait 20 minutes to get the shoes back and the staff couldn’t give any explanation. They just laughed at us!

Stayed here for six nights and didn't want to leave . The staff are so beautiful and went out of their way to make us welcome. Special thanks to January and sudi for lots of laughs. Had such a good time and will definitely be back . Our favourite place now to stay in Bali. Food was great room was great and location couldn't have been better . Don't hesitate to book . You won't be disappointed
The location is awesome as well as the view, the pool and the accommodation itself. We had the bungalows without the AC, but the fan was eventually enough. The bungalow is very neat and clean. Small shops and couple of restaurants are a walk of 5 minutes away. The staff was nice though a bit pushy and unemotional/lazy the way they service people.
I stayed at the Amarta in a suite for 2 nights. This is the best location in the local area with a beautiful beach out the front. This waterfront location has plenty of charm and the staff made it feel like home. Wayan Mangku was fabulous, such an amazing staff member. Next time I will be back with my family. I highly recommend this beautiful resort.
I went here with friends to spend the weekend. We booked the room deluxe with ocean view. It was so beautiful to wake up to see the ocean from the bed. Even we open the door to see the ocean there are not many people passing by.
The pool was nice is a bit warm. We were swimming in the morning and see the sunrise. Good experience. I wish there are many cool places like this in Bali.
Amarta is a wonderful place hidden in the small area of Sengkidu. The cottages are spacious and clean, with pool right beside the beach and the beachside location with the sounds of the surf and the beautiful sunsets is well worth it. It is not for everyone as it is not as luxurious as the bigger resorts with cable tv etc, but that adds charm. However there are newer more modern suites that will appeal yo those people. The food is nice and resonably priced, however if you are a wine drinker, as in most places of Bali it can be a little overpriced in my opinion. Such a relaxing small haven on the East Coast if Bali worth a visit.
