Lovely little place to stay. We were there for 2 nights and had an delightful time. Staff made you feel like you were at home. We did the walking tour of the town......a must do. Very centrally located that you could slip out in a minute and be in the centre of town. Perfect for all the great restaurants and cafe's nearby. It is a typical guesthouse with breakfast cooked for you. My only issue was the church is across the road and the bells ring every hour. There was 3 of us so a little bit tight for space otherwise very pleasant stay.

We stayed in De Hoek Manor for 2 nights. The room was cozy - heated tile floors and bed (we were there in winter) and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really great - so many choices for fresh fruits and they cooked a warm breakfast too. This historic B&B is located right across the street from a beautiful church and is in the perfect location for exploring Stellenbosch.

With its central location close to the shops, restaurant and bars, the guest house was the perfect starting point to discover the nice town of Stellenbosch. The room was very nice, clean and with a picturesque view at the courtyard with its lemon tree.
The biggest plus of our stay was the very friendly and helpful staff. They were always available to give sightseeing tips and for an interesting chat which makes you immediately feel at home. When coming back to Stellenbosch in the future, I will definitely come back to this charming guest house!

This guesthouse is across the road from an old picturesque church with a bell tower that chimes on the hour and half hour all night. If you are a light sleeper this could be a draw-back but reception kindly provided ear plugs. In the end I did not find it too disruptive and rooms on the inside away from the street would be much quieter. All furnishings were good and there was a kettle with tea and coffee, plus a small fridge. The room had a large spacious shower. Parking was not covered and was either in the street or by the church across the road.

Room tip: Inside rooms that are not on the street will be quieter.
