Haiku is known for its great food dishes. A good way to sample a few of them is to order different dishes to share. The service is prompt and extremely professional.

My fiancé took me here on a very special occasion, and it was wonderful. The place is very expensive but the staff are lovely and the food is great. Try the green tea icecream!

What a surprise to find that the best Indian Restaurant in Cape Town has joined forces with Haiku in the Cape Town Waterfront!
Both a choice of Indian or Japanese dishes and mix and match. The sushi was really good but the traditional Bukhara menu was my favourite. Great tasting Indian dishes accompanied by great Cape wines all horrendously over priced versus Cape Town average but you have to pay if you want the best! Service was a little slow and our waiter was probably more suited to a Kentucky fried chicken outlet. He didn't even thank us for a generous tip!!!!

We had supper at this restaurant on a recent trip to Cape Town! We have dined at haiku cbd before, I were worried after reading some of the reviews, but liked the idea that we could order from there Indian restaurant as well. The service that we received was professional from the start, wine list was good. We had dim sums, curries ect! We will def be back sooner than later! Great service and excellent food!!!

Background: It was Easter weekend, school break, and a concert night, so we were unable to get into our favorite V&A Waterfront restaurants. Haiku had empty tables, so we dined with a local friend (we are from USA), who was familiar with Haiku's other location. We quite enjoyed sharing the decent and tasty Peking duck, sizzling eggplant and Shanghai noodles. The ambiance was nice, and though full and slightly noisy, it was not detrimental to hearing each other talk without hearing conversation from adjacent tables.
