We enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairings. After placing this order the waitperson asked if we have any dietary requirements, and those that we raised were taken into account through all 5 courses of the subsequent meal.

We are typically picky eaters, so we specifically did not look at the menu descriptions of the meals before they were served, except for requesting fish for the main course.

The food was brilliant, with some really exceptional wines to go with it. There is really nothing to fault; although at the price one would expect no less!

Listen! If you're a meat and potatoes man, don't do this restaurant. You're not going to enjoy the pretty palette of daubs and dots; the pointillist masterpiece of carefully contrasting colours and flavours that is presented on your plate. But It's up there with the best. Went for a Xmas party of 35. Choice of 2 for each course: fried calamari and duck cannelloni; the latter was outstanding. Had the hake not the steak for main (my neighbour complained that her rump was tough - sad and unfortunate in a restaurant of this calibre!) Nice cheese platter followed by a chocolate something and 'deconstructed' grape crumble with ice cream, which was my choice and absolutely delicious and included a crunchy and unexpected grape friandise - bet you young 'uns don't even know what that is but it was so imaginative and delicious! Wine pairings were great; service was impeccable. Complementary breads with flavored butters to start and a platter of sweet goodies to end. It's expensive and indulgent. Keep it for a special occasion. And you gotta book a few days in advance - at least!

This is an annual pilgrimage we make and again it was sublime. If the breads do not win you over nothing will. We decided on the degustation menu. There is a choice of alcohol or non alcohol pairing. Star dishes was Confit Duck Cannelloni and the Kale with Cauliflower Espuma. The service is refined. Not a new kid on the block but DW11 maintains a high standard in terms of food and service. A must for any foodie.

Had dinner here on a Wednesday night a few weeks ago and thoroughly loved it. We ate at Cube Tasting Kitchen the next night and on balance we both preferred DW11-13, although Cube was excellent too.

Firstly I loved that it was tucked away in quite an ordinary shopping centre and I didn't mind the décor at all - its a nice room with decent sized tables well spaced out.

Second I loved that there was a non-alcoholic drink pairing - we didn't have it but towards the end of our holiday, awash with wine, we would have loved to have the chance to have such a pairing.

Thirdly I loved every course - nice bread to start with 9/10; the chicken liver pate with apple sauce was the stand out 10/10 of our three little pre-starters; wagyu tataki 8/10; the polenta with sultanas and pine nuts 7/10; duck cannelloni with langoustine, tarragon veloute and onion crumb 10/10 (if you pick from the menu this was an amazingly good starter); pork belly main 9/10; strawberry and radish sorbet 10/10 (who knew this would be such a great combination); chocolate pre-dessert 8/10; honey and thyme ice cream with white chocolate and lemon curd 9/10; petit-fours 8/10. Not a single poor or average dish and a few things that were stunningly good and that I can still recollect vividly and almost taste over three weeks later.

Fourthly service was great all night - just the right mix of informality and professionalism - not something we always achieved during our three week trip.

Fifthly the wine pairings were perfectly fine and worked pretty well with the food.

Finally it's a massive bargain given the quality of the food.

All in all a thoroughly lovely evening in a very relaxed setting. Maybe not so much of the wow factor of some of the other places we visited on our trip but none the worse for that. Looking back it was one of my favourites and the price really was amazingly good.
