Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Lush coastal forest and grassland is home to vast herds of African game, including White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bontebok, Lechwe and many more species. All the animals roam freely, unrestricted in natural surroundings. This owner operated animal friendly park, where no hunting or other disturbance of the game is permitted, means that you always get close up views and great photo opportunities. Take a drive in your own vehicle through the park on the well-maintained roads and enjoy viewing the game in any weather conditions from the comfort of your car. For those really close encounters, choose the 2 hour guided tour in an open Landrover with a professional guide providing you with interesting information on the animals and the historical background to the area.

We stayed here only 1night and we regret we did not book more. The chalet is wooden and spacious, could fit big familly or group of friends. In the evening we made BBQ on the veranda and were observing wild animals whilst eating. Game itself is worth a drive, however you should combine it with Addo Game drive. Staff is nice and challets well equipped, especially for your braai. They have a restaurant in the park with a view on cheetahs. It closes at 17h though, but they can let you out and in to the city.

I loved our day to this game park, we saw SO MANY ANIMALS! Rhino, cheetah, ostriches, warthogs, giraffes, zebra, buffalo... And nearly all of them had little babies, it was incredible! Would recommend 100% for a nice afternoon out

I took my friend who was visiting Port Elizabeth from theUSA to this game park that is literally 7minutes from my place. The day was so tranquil and just ideal for the visit. She managed to see the majority of the animals for the first time. Chettah, White Rhino, Giraffes, Zebra, Wildebeeste, Mountain Reedbuck etc were among the animals that we saw. Afterwards we enjoyed coffee and scones in their coffee shop. Must say the lady who attended to us was on the ball. We regretted having to go back home. That's how hooked we were. A place worth a visit indeed

We booked for this the day before and drove from PE along the coastal road to get there. When we arrived we had to drive down a rather off road track that our hire car blanched at a bit.
Having paid up we had a bit of time to spare so wandered out onto the veranda by the cafe, and were fortunate enough to watch the cheetahs being called and fed large lumps of meat.
Our personal tour was in an open top safari jeep with a guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and spent a long time explaining animal facts to us as we sat not more than 10 feet away from said animal. It is a smallish game park - about 200 acres, but you are guaranteed to see all the animals they have on offer:- zebra, warthogs, Bonteboks, Water buffalo, mountain goat, ostrich, impala, rhino, cheetah, tortoise, wildebeest and more - all in the space of a couple of hours. All the animals we saw had young.
