I've been to Angelo's Restaurant about 20+ times for either lunch, breakfast or dinner. I was always satisfied with the taste of the food, enjoyed the venue and was amazed by the prices. That was until one day, I just happened to get a peek into the kitchen. After seeing the state of the kitchen, I have not returned. If you are not too concerned about hygiene and want a nice restaurant with good tasting food at great prices and a nice venue, then Angelo's may be for you. If hygiene is a big concern, I would suggest you stay away. What I saw in the kitchen, through the slightly open door, was at least 10 flies swarming the food, a "chef" wearing a dirty soccer shirt with no hair netting or gloves, dirty kitchen floors with crawling insects and a chef wiping his sweat with his hands and then touching the food. Needless to say, I was horrified. It is such a pitty, Angelo's really was one of my favourite restaurants in PE. As a final note, out of all the times that I've eaten there, I have not once seen a Manager in the restaurant. This indicates no accountability for the lack of standards.
