The historic hotel is incredible. This used to be spring training location for the Giants when Willie Mays played. John Wayne had a penthouse here and the brat pack stayed here as well. Great golf, the Dukes bar and Legends restaurant and the pool is shaped like a bat.

Was there in 2017 and was a dump! Fairways, tees, greens improved to be very playable! Always a fun course, character added with outdoor beer stand! Try a brat or burger! Tough course from blues! Worth $40!

We were traveling from Anaheim to San Antonio and thought we could make it to Tucson on the 1st night of the drive. Wrong. We had hit the road kind of late because we had to swing by our office to pick up a toiletry bag that I had left at a de facto office party. You know how it goes: Little chit chat here, little chit chat there, meet the people in the Asia department because, well, we didn't know the company had an Asia department in Anaheim. Just like that, our dreams of making it to Tucson at a reasonable hour were swept away like confetti on the morning after a Chinese New Year's celebration. Then, Francisco Grande Hotel & Golf Resort appeared like a beacon in the desert. With a clean room available at check-in with no weird smell, and an elevator to take us up to our 6th floor accommodation, We were pleased. The following morning, I was able to get in a quick jog around the soccer fields next door, and buy a solid breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Lotta early bird golfers, too, so the people watching was legit.

Welcome to the Motel 6 of Golf resorts. If you want to watch TV to stay update with the news you should bring your computer monitor it will be bigger. The property is dated to say the least paint off the walls and railings in the elevators. There was only one of the two working. The deco of the room was maybe the 70's or early eighties and don't look too long at the carpeting or you will get dizzy form the pattern. The toilet paper is the cheapest you can possibly buy again reminiscent of Motel 6. If you are looking for a true resort this is not it

I went to Francisco Grande on a trip for soccer camp, and I can assure you that this hotel is great. The room, pic attached, was definitely big enough for my roommate and I, and the bathroom was nice. The banquet hall where we ate our meals was big and served great healthy food, which actually tasted good. The best part of the hotel was the golf course. It was not impossible for amateurs to play, and it had a full 18 holes. The scenery alongside the course was very nice, with ducks, cacti, and water.
