My friend and I stayed at the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge for two nights at the beginning and end of our road trip to the Yukon in late July/August. It really is a special place. The cabins were lovely and comfortable and the surroundings just beautiful. The owners, John and Jill are very friendly and welcoming. After a couple of weeks on the road, the home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner were a particular treat. We loved their new sauna and did a couple of hikes with their dog Denali. We were particularly lucky on our second stay here – one of the other guests treated us to a joy ride in their helicopter! Having never been in a helicopter before it certainly was one of the highlights of our holiday! We would love to go back there again one day and would definitely recommend it! Thankyou John and Jill!

Room Tip: All the cabins are lovely - will just depend on your budget and desire for facilities

We were refreshed after an overnight at the Log Cabin Wilderness Inn. We enjoyed the feel of Alaska wilderness (quiet and surrounded by mountains) and the crystal clear stream flowing past our cabin. The dinner and breakfast served family style (complete with fun conversation!) and the clean and comfortable cabin made for a very enjoyable (and suprisingly affordable) stay. We will recommend to all of our friends/family traveling by car to/from Alaska.
