We stayed at the campground for a few days. It's a nice and cozy place with a lot of different sleeping options, a firepit and a good place to sit and cook when the weather is bad. The bathroom, toilet and laundryroom are very clean. The staff is great, friendly and very helpfull. We are definitely coming back there!

The place is advertised as hostel, to me is rather B&B less breakfast. The fairly spacious log cabin has three bedroom, quite large living room and kitchen, there is bathroom for all to use and additional small bathrooms in each bedroom I think.
The lady owner is a perfect host. We agreed details over the phone, she came to welcome us, sorted out the matter, have a little chat, exchange local gossip and disappeared never to be seen again. The kitchen is fully furnished including some provisions to be used by occupants. There is TV, DVD and large collection of movies. Since there was only two of us and we stayed two night it was very refreshing stay during our 5000 miles round trip across Canada and Alaska. Personally I felt like distant family member visiting not some oily stain greasing cogs in corporate hospitality industry. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Hostel owned by AK Stoves Campground. There were 6 in our group, so we reserved all the rooms and had the home to ourselves. It was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space, nice little front porch with chairs to sit outside on. The Hostel is next door to a darling little gift shop with one of the nicest people we met while on our trip. We enjoyed our first night so much at the Hostel, that when we passed back through on our way back to Anchorage, we called and stayed again. If you stay here, and the little gift shop next door is open, go take a peek and visit with the sweet lady there. She's a gem!

Room Tip: Hostel has 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths. 1 bath is private to a room, the other is shared.
