“Wonderful time had by all”

Jonathan has created a wonderful tranquil retreat in an idyllic location.
The cottage is extremely well equipped and very warm and cozy especially when the log burner is roaring away and toasted marshmallow were on the menu !!
The gas barbecue came in very useful and the SKY TV / sports access and DVD kept all amused till bedtime.
Parking was easy and close to the cottage so transferring luggage etc was not an issue.
The river has a very relaxing effect and we spent many hours just sipping wine on the deck watching the wildlife.
The cottage has an extensive collection of lovely limited edition wildlife prints and original artwork which gives real character and country feel.
With easy access to dog walks it was a pleasure to go exploring with our German Shepherd Chloe who loved paddling in the river and the nearby dog friendly beaches were also great fun.
There are many dog friendly eateries in Newport with lovely locally sourced fayre and also some superb shops including a deli, butcher and bakery.
The local Spar supermarket meant that essentials could easily be picked up without travelling into Fishguard.
Jonathan was an excellent host who made us feel really welcome and was on hand if needed and gave us plenty of tips on places to visit.
Experience Mor own several other stunning properties in Wales so we will definitely be booking with Jonathan again in the near future.
Thanks for the Champage !!

“Idyllic setting ”

We consisted of 6 adults and 2 babies and had a lovely week here. The location is remote and idyllic, with the river running through the garden and surrounded by beautiful fauna. A footpath nearby makes for great walks straight from your front door. We were lucky with the weather for April which made it even more enjoyable. The house is well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The owners were only too happy to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend this location.

This was our third stay with Experience Mor, 6 adults 1 baby and 2 Dogs. The cottage easily accommodated us all with room to spare. Jonathan really knows how to make a business truly personable to every guest. The property is 5 star in every offering from the moment you open the front door until the time you leave, every part of the experience will have you relaxed and wanting to return. Whether your a basic cook or Michelin star the kitchen has everything you will need during your stay. The property itself sits in a peaceful little valley and although there are two other equally beautiful cottages on the Site the way the grounds are laid out you would think you were alone. The dogs think they are in paradise with front and rear access to the property and the River Nevern with all its wildlife running 30 mtrs from the property. The location is close enough if you need anything from the shops in the town but far enough to be an escape from it all. You could search and search the web to find a paradise like Experience Mor, others places probably exist but they won't have a host like Jonathan. Try it for yourself you won't be disappointed. Thanks for a wonderful break Jonathan see you next year.

“Welsh heaven - best rental house we've ever stayed in”

My brother-in-law and his wife found this house for the four of us to stay in, drawn to it not only by its amazing location but also the owner's ethical approach. His daughter and her partner also joined us for a couple of days. My husband and I were only sorry that our own children couldn't come as we both agreed it was the best rental house we've ever stayed in. It is right next to a beautiful stream with kingfishers and otters, so quiet that we could hear literally nothing except tawny owls at night and the sound of the stream and birdsong in the day. The garden has more birds visiting than we've ever seen. Jonathan made us feel like house guests rather than clients and could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The house itself is really well equipped - sharp knives galore, for example. Comfy chairs, lovely log burner, good lighting, comfy beds, masses of art on the walls. Our relatives brought their elderly dog so it was great for them to have a bedroom downstairs as the dog struggles going upstairs. Newport (make sure you look up the right one - there is more than one Newport in Wales!) and Nevern are walkable, with good pubs and restaurants and shops. Jonathan was able to show us several of the other properties owned by experience-môr and they were equally wonderful. The standard of decor and overall quality of the experience-môr houses is exceptional. Thank you Jonathan for a wonderful stay.

We have close family week away once a year and try and out do the previous years accommodation .Dryffryn Tawel has caused a problem , I do not think it is possible to better it anywhere (except another Experience Mor property) The cottage is excellent the kitchen well equipped with a good welcome package, short of nothing and a good recycling arrangement is in place. Living and dining room are spacious and comfortable it can blow and rain as much as it likes you will be cosy warm ,the big windows open up the garden and the bird table is far better entertainment than the TV even with Sky sports . Bedrooms are excellent , 2 main bedrooms each have ensuites and all bedrooms have complimentary tea, coffee, towels, bathrobes hair dryers and slippers. The decor is like no other rental property we have ever stayed in , yes it does sound too good to be true, but it even gets better. The contained garden fronts onto an idyllic river and stretches long into the woods from where a gate lets you join a public footpath and walk along the river for miles either way. Needless to say the wildlife particularly the birds is everywhere and mesmerising. You have to keep a log of all the birds spotted ,I think we topped 80 different species in the week (yes in a week).
Jonathan the owner met us on arrival and immediately treated us like friends and every time we met he always had time for a chat he is a genuinely nice person. The area is so quiet yet a little distance gets you the best Pembrokeshire has to offer, Newport Beach less than 10 mins away is a smashing beach has sand, rocks, caves and even a waterfall, well worth a visit.
Newport is the nearest village/town with plenty of pubs/restaurants and all the shops you need for your stay and car parking is only 20p for 2 hours.
Sat at home writing this I am already missing the peace and quiet of this cottage, the ability to watch the birds on the bird table from the settee and just wander off into the woods and take in the beauty of the area in total peace.
To recap
Excellent cottage
Excellent decor
Stunning garden complete with wildlife
The peace and quiet has to seen (and not heard ! ) to be believed.
If you are considering renting this property or any of Experience Mor other houses .you have to do it nothing else comes close, Jonathon has excelled himself with this and his other properties and you feel like his house guest and not a holiday home renter.
