My husband and I just got back from Bora Bora 2 days ago and we miss it already. Probably one of the most beautiful landscapes and views we've ever seen. We booked our trip through Pacific For Less and did not regret it one bit during our stay. Pacific for Less had handled all of our travel needs, from transportation between all airports, all of our flights, and our hotel stay. I would highly recommend using them as your travel agency if you're considering booking a trip to the French Polynesia. Once we arrived to the local airport in Bora Bora we were completely treated with the best of care by all of the wonderful St. Regis staff. They really know how to take care of their clients at the St. Regis catering to your every need, literally. All the staff members were genuinely kind and very pleasant to be around. We were always greeted by every staff member in passing, which really made us feel very welcomed. Although expensive, the food was just amazing, we did not have one bad meal at the resort. The breakfast buffet had an amazing selection of food that we were hardly hungry at all for lunch. The resort has 3 restaurants. Te Pahu and the Lagoon restaurants were the only 2 that we tried but were far from ever being disappointed. The Lagoon restaurant was probably our favorite, we saved it for the last day we were there and wished we had tried it sooner so we could have eaten there again, it was that brilliant. There were plenty of activities available to you to keep you interested and occupied on the resort. They had bicycles that you could use to ride through their 44 acre property. There were plenty of water activities available, such as paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. that were no cost to hotel guests. There was a rec room with a pool table, tv area, internet ready computers, books and coffee/tea. The beach had plenty of chairs and umbrellas available and the pool boys were always available to help you adjust the umbrellas or give you cushions or towels if needed. We had a couples massage in the Miri Miri spa and that was quite pleasant, the staff there again were incredibly professional and courteous. There was an amazing Lagoonarium with a huge array of fish to see that you can snorkel with. Conveniently all snorkel equipment was available at no charge as well. Lastly our OTW bungalow was just gorgeous. We had originally booked for a deluxe OTW bungalow w/ a mountain view of Mt. Otemanu but were graciously upgraded to a Premier OTW bungalow w/ a mountain view of Mt. Otemanu. This gave us a larger living room space with an additional day bed area and a large deck with a jacuzzi. Our room was laid out perfectly. We were originally debating between the Four Seasons and the St. Regis but we saw videos of the OTW bungalows from the Four Seasons and just weren't impressed w/ the layout of their bungalows compared to the St. Regis and we were not disappointed with having chosen St. Regis. I would highly recommend this hotel, while the only other resort that we did see in Bora Bora was the Le Meriden (for their turtle sanctuary), we were very unimpressed by their staff, the upkeep of their hotel, the layout and their bungalows. I couldn't wait to get back to our resort! The St. Regis really lives up to their 5 star rating!
