My husband and I just got back from Bora Bora 2 days ago and we miss it already. Probably one of the most beautiful landscapes and views we've ever seen. We booked our trip through Pacific For Less and did not regret it one bit during our stay. Pacific for Less had handled all of our travel needs, from transportation between all airports, all of our flights, and our hotel stay. I would highly recommend using them as your travel agency if you're considering booking a trip to the French Polynesia. Once we arrived to the local airport in Bora Bora we were completely treated with the best of care by all of the wonderful St. Regis staff. They really know how to take care of their clients at the St. Regis catering to your every need, literally. All the staff members were genuinely kind and very pleasant to be around. We were always greeted by every staff member in passing, which really made us feel very welcomed. Although expensive, the food was just amazing, we did not have one bad meal at the resort. The breakfast buffet had an amazing selection of food that we were hardly hungry at all for lunch. The resort has 3 restaurants. Te Pahu and the Lagoon restaurants were the only 2 that we tried but were far from ever being disappointed. The Lagoon restaurant was probably our favorite, we saved it for the last day we were there and wished we had tried it sooner so we could have eaten there again, it was that brilliant. There were plenty of activities available to you to keep you interested and occupied on the resort. They had bicycles that you could use to ride through their 44 acre property. There were plenty of water activities available, such as paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. that were no cost to hotel guests. There was a rec room with a pool table, tv area, internet ready computers, books and coffee/tea. The beach had plenty of chairs and umbrellas available and the pool boys were always available to help you adjust the umbrellas or give you cushions or towels if needed. We had a couples massage in the Miri Miri spa and that was quite pleasant, the staff there again were incredibly professional and courteous. There was an amazing Lagoonarium with a huge array of fish to see that you can snorkel with. Conveniently all snorkel equipment was available at no charge as well. Lastly our OTW bungalow was just gorgeous. We had originally booked for a deluxe OTW bungalow w/ a mountain view of Mt. Otemanu but were graciously upgraded to a Premier OTW bungalow w/ a mountain view of Mt. Otemanu. This gave us a larger living room space with an additional day bed area and a large deck with a jacuzzi. Our room was laid out perfectly. We were originally debating between the Four Seasons and the St. Regis but we saw videos of the OTW bungalows from the Four Seasons and just weren't impressed w/ the layout of their bungalows compared to the St. Regis and we were not disappointed with having chosen St. Regis. I would highly recommend this hotel, while the only other resort that we did see in Bora Bora was the Le Meriden (for their turtle sanctuary), we were very unimpressed by their staff, the upkeep of their hotel, the layout and their bungalows. I couldn't wait to get back to our resort! The St. Regis really lives up to their 5 star rating!

Room Tip: Rooms that have a mountain view were generally more expensive but well worth it i felt. If you dont...

The location is breathtaking, the resort is beautiful, and the experience was amazing. Pictures and these reviews can not do this place justice. Its even better than you can ever imagine. The staff takes care of everything and are nice as can be. We used Pacific for Less as a travel agent and they were absolutely wonderful. We will be back for sure!

Room Tip: Try and get a room that faces the mountains. Also, as our travel agent told us, try and get a seat...

Recently we have stayed at St Regis, Bora Bora and celebrated our wedding there. I don’t know what to start from because everything was amazing. The views were breathtaking starting from first steps after we left the plane. St Regis surprised us with the highest quality of service! All employees were so naturally friendly. Even if they met you walking late at night after their long working day, they smiled and Ia Orana sounded so warm and friendly. And I can say with no doubt we have experienced the exceptional service and the warmest welcome ever while staying at St. Regis. We are grateful to travel agency Pacific for Less for recommending this resort, especially to Jennifer Dillon who was so professional, knowledgeable and attentive to every detail. Plus, they really can offer good deals. Our wedding ceremony was well cared by wedding organizer at St Regis, so just had to enjoy the day.

My husband and I spent a 10-day honeymoon in French Polynesia (4 days Hilton, Moorea, 6 days St. Regis, Bora Bora). I am definitely a planner and like to extensively research everything about a destination. In fact, I may be considered a little OCD when it comes to planning, as I have a speadsheet and schedule of activities, restaurants, etc whenever I travel. So, after some exhaustive research, I decided to stay in the highest ranked resorts on both islands, the Hilton on Moorea and St. Regis on Bora Bora. We booked through Pacific for Less and Jennifer and Claudia were very helpful to my numerous demands. I originally tried booking through Costco, but was frustrated that I got a different agent every time I called.

Having done so much research, I had very high expectations of the St. Regis. I am happy to say that they exceeded them all. The staff go out of their way to treat you like royalty. We stayed in a deluxe overwater bungalow with view of Mt. Otemanu. We were surprised to find a private jacuzzi on the deck! The St. Regis, Four Seasons, and Le Meridien are located adjacent to each other on the east side of the motu. Our jet ski guide informed us that we were on the best part of the island in his opinion. Having toured the island on jet ski and observing the other resorts on the main island, I will have to agree. I also considered staying at the Hilton in Bora Bora because they offered a package that included breakfast and dinner. I must say that I was glad to have opted for the luxuries and benefits of the St. Regis over free dinner. In fact, the food was not as expensive as I anticipated at the St. Regis. Each meal for 2 averaged about $100. If you are at the St. Regis, I recommend booking a private beach candlelight dinner, jet ski tour, and ordering the room service! The breakfast buffet was excellent, but got a little old after the 3rd or 4th day. We loved the ahi tuna pizza on the room service and bar menu!

Cons: We waited over an hour at the airport waiting for another couple to arrive on another flight so we could take the yacht to the resort. Also, room electricity went out a couple times during our stay, but was fixed promptly. The french waiters at breakfast were not very attentive and sometimes did not take our egg and drink orders until we asked. These slight disturbances did not affect our overall experience though.

The gorgeous and breathtaking natural envrionment is complemented superbly by the attentive, warm and welcoming service at this marvelous resort! The staff (Guillame, Max, Sebastian, Riati, Moe, Moea, and Maileti--just to name a few) fully delivered when it came to exceptional care and friendliness. The grounds are amazing. Our overwater bungalow was smartly decorated, plush and comforatable, immaculate and very spacious. We really enjoyed riding the resort bikes around the grounds and going to and from our bungalow (you do have to leave a bag or towel on your bikes when you park them or they will dissapear!). The food overall, although extremely expensive (about $32 for a pizza) was always delicious. Room service is actually top-restaurant quality. The included breakfast was good (fresh fruit, cheeses, cereals, pastries, various fruit drinks, etc) but did get a little redundant towards the end. This resort does have an in-house baker, so count on having croissants, baguettes and even pizza crust to die for! We had several meals right on the beach at the resort, and our romantic sunset dinner in a cabana on the beach was truly memorable. The sushi at the Japanese restaurant was pretty good. My husband went fishing wiht a local and brought back some "varo" which the restaurant chef graciously offered to prepare and serve us one night for dinner. The comfort-level at the resort is so good that it's sometimes hard to leave, but for a change of pace, one can take the free boat shuttle to the mainland and have a simple, tastey lunch at Aloe or dinner at the popular Bloody Mary's. As part of our Anniversary package we had a couples Polynesian massage that was fantastic! The spa area is very serene and inviting. A bit dissapointed, however, that some of the services are not available due to future remodeling (sauna, steam). The beach area is gorgeous. The sand is powdery soft and clean. We appreciated having easy access to the beach goodies: kayaks, hobie sailboat, paddleboards, etc. and the beach guys are very helpful and friendly. The lounge chairs are always clean and readily available. We initially waivered between the St. Regis and another major resort before booking but are very pleased that we went with this one. We booked through Pacific-For-Less and are truly grateful for having done this. Claudia and her staff were invaluable in helping us create an incredible and memorable anniversary trip of a liefetime. Their recommendation to take a Jet Ski/ATV tour was spot-on and allowed us to learn so much about Bora Bora, and the Polynesian culture. Our tour guide, Louis, took us to his "motu" and showed us how he lives off his land. He served us fresh coconut water, gave us the sweetest, most gigantic grapefruit ever and let us snack on bananas right off the tree. Meeting his friendly pet pig, Popoti, was a highlight too! Our Love Boat photo tour, also recommended by PFL, was beyond amazing. This truly is a must-do for any couple vacationing in Bora Bora. Our guide and photographer, Vincent, gave us so much insight about the island, and took us to some jaw-dropping, awesome spots not generally seen by most tourists. The snorkeling portion of our tour was spectacular. We returned from that tour love-struck by the island, feeling like we gained a friend, plus got a disc on the spot with 300+ pictures of that entire experience (including really cool underwater shots). We feel so blessed to have been able to sink our feet in the Bora Bora sand, take delicious, refreshing dips in the crystal clear water right off our bungalow and to have met such lovely people (fellow vacationers and staff). If you are going to travel this far, I would recommend staying at a place that compliments and fulfills what a dream vacation should be. For us, there was nothing better than St. Regis. I can't really think of anything negative about the resort, other than maybe some of the bungalows look like they could use some TLC on the outside (a few broken shutters here and there, some wood fading). Overall, an experience of a lifetime!
