I've never written a review before this experience.

This was singlehandedly the most horrifying ride of my life.

Driving in Vietnam takes a bit to get used to as a westerner but after your first few times you realise there is a different system and it actually isn't that bad. This was spectacularly different.

My phones GPS was saying the car was going 120km/h in the pouring rain whilst the driver was texting and overtaking on the wrong side of the road. All other cars were traveling about 20 to 40ks slower than us and he insisted on overtaking every single one of them for some reason. At one point he was going 110 in a 60 zone.

The driver refused to slow down even after several passengers asked him to and only slowed after another passenger contacted the company whilst we were on a rest stop and told them how absolutely horrifying it was.

The car itself was fantastic and very comfortable but the comfy seats are hard to notice when your grabbing at every surface in the car bracing for impact.

If you aren't fond of life or you need the thrill of a near death experience go on this bus. If you don't like either of those things then don't ever go with this company.

We used the train up to Sa Pa and returned by bus which was quicker, and in very comfortable large padded seats.
They drop you off at your hotel and also pick you up from your hotel so its a true door to door service.

Thank annski

Without a doubt the most comfortable ride you’ll find to Sapa if you’re traveling with children - When looking for transportation, we the train wasn’t ideal traveling with 7 and 8 year old girls. It was going to be a 5 1/2 hour drive so comfort was paramount.

From the start, Kate was incredibly helpful and responded to every email quickly. I had concerns about the road to SaPa considering the passing thunderstorms and high altitudes. Most importantly, getting dropped off directly to the front door of our hotel. Kate ensured me that the driver was incredibly experienced and I had no worries about the safety of our family.
The Limo Bus: One word... OUTSTANDING!
We were incredibly surprised when the driver arrived to our hotel. The Limo Bus was awesome! When I booked the transportation, I had no idea we had this whole bus to ourselves. Aside from us 4, 3 more people could of easily sat comfortably as well. We had tons of room for us and our luggage which included large backpacks (2 Osprey Porter 46, 2 kids backpacks, camera and tech bags PLUS all the gifts we’d acquired in Hanoi)
The seats are plush leather that recline all the way back, USB ports everywhere and bottled water for everyone. The bus was a smooth ride the whole way and what was a 5 1/2 trip, seemed like it wizzed by. The kids loved it, we took naps, my wife caught up on work and i was in photography heaven in our route to SaPa.

The Driver:
Our driver was not only courteous, kind and knowledgeable but incredibly experienced. We stopped for egg coffee and snacks, essentially your booking a private driver. Twice my daughters had to go to the bathroom (last minute emergency of course) and our driver didn’t blink an eye before finding a rest stop for a bathroom break. Good man! We had 2 stops on the way, both great with great food and gifts.

For the most part it’s a straight shot to Lao Cai but from then on, it’s a climb to SaPa - Once we hit the half way point, the scenery disappeared into the clouds and visibility was thick. With lots of booming traffic up and down the mountain (we’re taking motor bikes, cars, trucks, wildlife and even Semi Trucks) at no time did we feel in danger, our driver was a pro! When we arrived to our hotel (Eden Boutique Hotel) he quickly helped unload our baggage and ENSURED we didn’t forget anything. Good thing because my daughter forgot her favorite scarf and would of been crushed if lost. My driver didn’t expect a tip but was happy to receive it. Seemed appropriate to tip for transporting my family for close to 6 hours safely - If you don’t tip, SHAME ON YOU! These drivers run this trip EVERYDAY so tip! All I All this company is outstanding- Hope this helps you and your family as well - Cheers and safe travels!

We booked this service through Tripadvisor so I thought it's only fair to share the experience here for fellow travelers. The service is simply amazing. The bus was quite nice and comfortable. The staffs were friendly all around and good at customer service. We had a mix-up on the trip from Hanoi to Sapa that they got the wrong date but they arranged accordingly for us to board another comparable service but in my opinion, there's no comparison. I won't get into too much details here but they handled that situation great and even got a taxi to get us to the other service's boarding address.
On the way back from Sapa to Hanoi, another tour service booked their bus for 2 German girls who were quite tall and couldn't fit in the seats next to the driver. The accompanying Vietnamese couple was nice enough to switch so they could still feel comfortable. This is by no means fault of Eco sapa so I recommend to book services directly with them through their website as soon as you fix the travel plan if you're over 5.6 ft or 170 cm tall. There are 5-6 buses at the same time so you should be able to get the seats you want if you send them an email specifying it.
In addition, there was an accident up the hill. The girls were in a rush to get to the airport in time for their flights and the driver called multiple connections to arrange transportation directly to the airport. The driver could've learned a bit better English though cause without us, the girls would be clueless about what they need to do.
Other than that small hiccup, I've never once felt my life was in danger and am completely comfortable with their services. It's the first service I even log into Tripadvisor to recommend.

Ecosapa provided us with a fabulous VIP minibus service, collecting three of us from Hanoi airport and delivering us to our hotel in Sapa a five hour journey later. The vehicle was in excellent condition, with onboard Wi-Fi and refreshments provided. There were two twenty minute stops to stretch your legs and have a cup of something to drink. The drivers were safe and steady and very helpful. There was excellent communication from the driver by email arranging pick up and by the company using whatsapp. All in all, a fantastic way to get to Sapa and back at a very reasonable price
