This hotel is at 1 minute walkable distance from Hawa Beach. This is nice hotel at economical tariff. It has problem of vehicle access untill hotel but highly recommended and worth of money as compared with other highly charged hotels nearby...Pls note, always book standard room, economical room is not recommended...

We have now stayed three times at Thushara Hotel. For a central yet quiet location it is unbeatable, and the pool is great. Pools are not that common in Kovalam, and this one is kept very clean, unlike many other places.
We found a few small improvements to our room: a couple of shelves in the wardrobe to make better use of the storage space, a shelf for toiletries near the shower, an electric kettle to make your own tea or coffee, and the old TV had been replaced with a flatscreen one. Generally, all the rooms could do with a bit of an update, but they are quite comfortable.
The chef had gone, but then the restaurant had always just been a sideline. There is a limited choice for breakfast, but we were quite happy with our fresh juice, porridge, and toast. Eggs are also available, and sometimes idli or other Indian breakfast items. If you want more choice, there are loads of cafés nearby.
All the other staff are still there, lovely people who do their best to make your stay a comfortable one. We'll be back.
First stay at this hotel . Stayed in more expensive rooms which where nice. Staff are great and very helpful. Breakfast is worth having. Hotel is just 2 mins from beach and in a quiet location. The pool was never grouded and a good place to relax. Will be staying there again.

This is our third stay at The Thushara and it suits us well, it is quite basic but we had clean bedding and towels every day and it is two minutes walk from the beach. There is a nice little swimming pool which is very clea, manager and staff are very helpful and use of the safe is provided free of charge. Prices are excellent but it would not suit guests who are used to all inclusive, We had a fridge in out room and our own balcony for drinks, reading etc.

Great location: 2 mins walk from beach. All the advantages of being close to beach without noisy waves at night. Accommodation very clean; rooms cleaned and change of sheets & towels every day. Lovely clean quiet swimming pool with loungers. Towels on request. Ample breakfast available. Nothing too much trouble for Manager Prasad and his staff. Will be going back for sure.

This little hotel takes some beating, it is situated close to the beach, it is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the pool is probably the best we have found, private and crystal clear water. Very good value . Book it, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely stay here again.
