Stay here if you want no hot water to have a bath in for days. Reported to front desk many times and it was supposed to be fixed. I hope it is for a future guest but do not count on it
Customer service at desk does not care or fix issue

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Inn at Creek Street. We were all very saddened to read this review as it is not our norm. Your visit coincided during an unusual electrical failing impacting the particular section of the Creek you were staying. (No conciliation to you, but the problem has been resolved since your departure). Perhaps worse than this electrical failure though, is that your impression of this situation was we didn't care. This is where we are most disheartened. We place customer service and our guest satisfaction in the highest of priorities, and we regret that we failed to do so during your visit. We know that we can never be perfect, but we can always make it right when we slip up. This time we failed but we did not make it right...and we would like to do so. At your earliest convenience, please call our hotel and ask for me and we will arrange to rectify the situation and ensure that you might be willing to give us another chance, should you ever travel to Ketchikan again.
Lastly, thank you for following up your stay with this review. This type of feedback is so important as it helps us learn from our mistakes so we can do better in the future.

Stayed 1 night after finishing an Uncruise. Creek St. is a row of old brothels along the roaring creek. The hotel has taken several of these places and put wonderful rooms (with kitchens) on the upstairs levels. Great views, way more interesting than a plain hotel room.

Dear Mike R,

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Inn at Creek Street during your Uncruise adventure. Your feedback is the best we ever receive: "way more interesting than a plain hotel room." We actually strive to be more interesting than a plain hotel room because we feel the community of Ketchikan way more interesting—especially Creek Street. While our guests can expect clean, comfortable, accommodating rooms, they really shouldn't expect a typical cookie cutter hotel experience. We differentiate ourselves in our location, our customer service, and our history. Thank you for noticing this—and for providing a review which says as much. Please do call us if you ever find yourself back in Ketchikan in the future. Happy travels!

Really enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Creek Street. The Preachers House was very roomy and incredibly comfortable. The staff at the Inn was incredibly accommodating from the time they picked me up at the Ferry to dropping me back off again. Stayed a total of three days and LOVED the NY Café. Great food & hospitality there as well. Overall, would definitely return if I found myself in Ketchikan again!

Room Tip: Preachers House has kitchen and three floors. Would only recommend for those who can do stairs.

Dear Laurice,

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Inn at Creek Street and for taking the additional time to follow up your stay with this review. It's wonderful to read that you found Preacher's House comfortable and roomy. Did you know it earned its name after a preacher lived there with the intention of reforming the Creek? (He was unsuccessful but the name stuck.) There are so many bits of historic gems throughout this part of town and it's great to read that you also enjoyed the New York Café.
Thank you for recommending us. We do hope to host you again in the future! Happy travels!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in a loft apartment. Really comfortable beds, well serviced and close to all local attractions. Staying right on the creek was marvellous and provided for a nice view and atmosphere - seals coming in to the creek at dusk. The apartment was well heated and quiet even though tourists were a plenty when ships were at berth. Good hot water, very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Dear AustraliaBeachbum,

Thank you for staying with us and for following up your visit with this review. It appears you stayed in one of the Creekside Lofts—one of our suites hanging directly over Creek Street. It's quite amazing to watch the busy day, with all the cruise passengers, slow down into a quiet evening. And it's wonderful that you were able to watch the seals visiting the Creek. They are inevitable visitors during high tide, snacking on the salmon as they swim up the creek.
It's great to hear you would stay with us again. We'd love to accommodate you in the future. Happy travels!

Hubby and I and two friends are traveling the Inside Passage via the Alaskan Marine Highway Ferry and spent two nights in Ketchikan at the Inn at Creek Street. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay here. Jose picked us up at the ferry docks at 7:00 am with cups of steaming hot coffee. We were able to leave our backpacks at the desk while we ate breakfast at the New York restaurant on site (very good) and explored town. The four of us shared the Harborview apartment (full, well stocked kitchen, pull out sofa and a full separate bedroom) and it was just perfect. Since it rained most of the time we were there (this is Ketchikan--bring rain gear!) we also enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and go and other harbor activities from our big picture window. Fantastic location, accommodations and customer service; we highly recommend!

Dear MichiganWildflower,

Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us. We're so pleased you enjoyed the Inn at Creek Street while on your cruise up the Inside Passage. Harborview is perfect for four people with its bedroom and pull out sofa, combined with a kitchen for cooking if you want to stay in. I'm sorry it rained during your visit through Ketchikan—we've had a particularly rainy June. The best part about a rainy visit, though, is you can be rest assured that you authentically experienced our island rainforest in all it's wet glory. With over 200 days of rain, you have better odds at the blackjack table than experiencing a completely dry visit in Southeast Alaska ;) I'll be sure to pass along the kudos to Jose.

We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your adventure through Alaska. Happy travels!
