We stopped in on a sunny day for coffee and pie....good food and a very friendly owner. The late was good, not exceptional. The pie was homemade blueberry rhubarb. The filling was tasty but slightly frozen in center. The local owner was terrific with plenty of insights to share and very accommodating.

On a sunny day, this is a great place to stop, stretch and sit at the cute red tables.

This is a very eccentric little wayside coffee shop and more. While she's a bit expensive (what in Alaska is not?), her salmon salad sandwich and potato salad is most excellent.

We stopped there twice this year and ate at her little side tables once and carried out the second time. Both times the food was excellent.

This is well worth a stop as you pass between Tok and Anchorage.

This is a small drive through that is surprising in the variety, quality and quantity of her selections. Her ham and egg breakfast sandwich was tasty, although a bit greasy, and HUGE. The salmon salad sandwiches with local potato salad were excellent.

We drove a few extra miles to have our breakfast there and to get the salmon sandwiches to go for lunch later in the day.

Espresso was really bad. To make things worse, it was very expensive. Our suggestion: do not stop.
the review is short, but this is all there is to know.

At the intersection of the tok cut off you will find Jeannie's Java and we loved it. The home pies with ice cream were fab and so were the cappuccino's. For a small drive through there is a lot to choose from on the menu. We stood chatting for a good half and hour as well, lovely local lady.
