No guest laundry is provided, there is no radio/alarm clock, the fan was loud, room was not serviced-had to ask for clean towels, trash bags to empty trashcans. Thank goodness the room was clean when checked in.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's not fancy but by northern standards it is very comfortable. The rooms are clean and quiet with nice amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, ironing board, TV, microwave etc. The washroom is a good size and nicely finished. And most importantly it has good wi-fi, at least in my room on the 3rd floor.
The lobby and the hallways are a bit tired but the rooms look like they have recently had a major update, even the windows are newer and good quality.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Also, there is a very good restaurant on the premises called the Red Basket. It has a big menu and the food is fast and good quality.
Overall I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The unit was pretty much a dump, though the morning meal was pretty darn good. The facilities do need a make over. Not sure if the income would justify the needed expenditures. Pretty friendly staff - all family members.

The Long House is one of the larger Bethel hotels. It is reasonably well located (not too far form shops) and right next door to the best breakfast place in Bethel. Rooms are pretty average but are clean and have good cable tv. Wifi is a bit slow, but functional. Overall a comfortable place, but the price ($240/night) is well above what you would expect to pay for this level of accommodation.

Room tip: Ask for an upper floor room - less noisy

Bring earplugs! If you simply remember this you will have a great stay. The rooms are always clean and staff is helpful, but be prepared for some very thin walls! The place also has WiFi that works and small desks in each room- just remember the earplugs and all will be great!
