Having coworkers from our Seattle office in San José, I decided to give this place a try. We had the vegetarian combination to share, and lamb kebab and lamb ribs. The place is very nice, good atmosphere. The lamb took a little long to be served so they gave us complimentary lentil soup and a dish that consists of Lebanese cheese and tomato to make up for the wait. That was a nice touch. Meat was soft and juicy. Baba Ghannouj was a little bitter. Falafel was ok and the Tabbouleh was perfect. The service at the restaurant was impeccable. The prices were OK for the quality of the food. Then we decided to check the bar that is in the back of the place, and it wasn't great: the mojitos were super sweet, and the service less than desirable. We sat in the back of the bar and a female bartender with a bad attitude came to tell us that we could only sit there if we were to consume at least $120 as a group. On a Wednesday night. Before 10pm. Place was half empty. And her attitude was really rude (not a "thank you" or at least a decent level of service from this person, plus the fact that it is ridiculous to ask that from paying customers that spent at the restaurant and were there for one after dinner drink. It is a small nice bar, not a mega club in Vegas). So, bar service is really bad, but the rest was very good.
