A very nice and quaint Bed and Breakfast. I stayed both in a very small 1920s type room and a much larger fully modernized room as one would expect in a contemporary hotel. Both had very comfortable beds, functional bathrooms with instant hot water. The larger room was more suitable for business travelers who stay up late writing reports.(the small room is the 172sf one with a Queen bed and the desk/chair are a bit un-ergonomic if the traveler is a tall person. Mini-refrigerator in both rooms. Daily linen service. No coffee maker in the rooms although the adjoining restaurant has always available coffee. Excellent and ample included Continental Breakfast with larger options available at reasonable cost. The restaurant is excellent for both lunch and dinner. Other than no gym if one is so accustomed to training when traveling, it is an excellent choice for central San Jose. Also within walking distance of major shopping and of course adjacent to the Red Light district so know where you walk if late in the evening. Easy commute or 20 minute walking distance of the hip Escalante area with open air gastro pubs and cafes.
In short: Great value. Enjoy a unique experience.More
