This is one of the most traditional Costa Rican cafeterias... great pastries and cookies, great place to have coffee or even lunch. Nice setup too! I think you´ll like it!

Very expensive for what you are getting. They serve coffees, teas, pastries and cakes. I was not impressed by the quality of what I had, the coffee was good. Good parking and a nice garden setting.

Thank Broho

When I think of Giacomin, my memories go way back. This bakery has the best mini pizzas for kids and sweets for parties or to accompany a coffee. The sandwiches are really good as well. I really recommend this!

I go to Giaccomin Santa Ana very often. Since it is located next door to Automercado Supermarket (the best supermarkets in Costa Rica), I enjoy a lot watching people go and forth. Their big windows do not hide anything.

It's where the middle aged ladies tend to lunch. A sort of 'conservative' feel. The food is fine, unlicensed so you are stuck with soft drinks & coffee's etc, which again are fine but unexciting. You don't find yourself thinking 'I can't wait to come back'. Give them a $100 bill & the waiter will go into a state of worry & frenzy. (It must be the fantastic CR economy compared to the poor old USA)! (Hold your ground & eventually he will accept it (but probably rip you off with a low exchange rate... In fairness The Colone is The CR currency but it's petty). Nice environment with Guinea Fowl wondering around the gardens & if you are a local & have a dog.. It's welcome which is nice. They make their own (fairly average it must be said) cakes & I understand supply wholesale. A better similar option would be Christophe in nearby La Paco which is similar but much better cakes & bakery, more diversified menu & a beer or wine if you want one
