We visited Miguel’s surf camp during our trip to Costa Rica. Our daughters took surfing lessons for the first time and absolutely loved it. Miguel is a great instructor. Along with the surfing lessons our family enjoyed the beautiful almost private beach. Miguel and his family were very hospitable and treated us to homegrown coconut, pineapple, ware melon and cashew fruit. It was indeed an unique and memorable experience for us. A must for any one visiting the Manual Antonio area.

Amazing sunsets around a firepit, surfing is great with Miguel who is an amazing teacher and extremely nice and helpful. The whole family is amazing, Pilar is really kind and as everyone notes : an amazing cook. They will make your stay really memorable. A truly great spot to spend a few days when in Costa Rica and experience nature at its best, a 30 minute bus ride away from Manuel Antonio, one of the country's best parks.

Miguel was a gracious host. He's worked hard to build a beautiful place for his guests and his family. The accommodations are minimalist, but well worth the price. This is exactly the sort of place I look to stay when I travel.
