We stayed in the two bedroom villa for 5 nights as part of the Green Season package. The villa was great with all sorts of luxury and is enormous. The addition of Netflix in all the rooms was great.

The restaurant was super with amazing food- the huevos rancheros at breakfast were a firm favourite and the Mahi Mahi ceviche being a must try. The kitchen also offers complementary cooking lessons were you just pay for the meal- this was incredibly fun and useful and a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon.

The Pools are fab with the opportunity to see sloths by the poolside and iguanas. The Pina Colada’s by the pool side are great- their secret being fresh pineapple.

Overall the staff were great incredibly attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 3 days at the end of our vacation. We got a gorgeous room and really enjoyed all the hotel amenities like a beautiful pool, nice spa and a very good restaurant. The hotel is perfectly located in their own reserve and we enjoyed a complimentery very informative guided tour. Without a doubt, the service and people in this hotel are extraordinary!!! We will definteley come again! Thanks for this wonderful experience!

Staff, service and hospitality was on point! Our concierge Roy was the most pleasant and heart felt, genuinely helping with all our needs. We became extremely close to most of the staff as we spent most of our time at the resort. The food was fresh and delicious. The views were never ending. We saw a lot of exotic animals at the hotel grounds. We were not far from the city, beach and park. Shuttle service, direction and tips were always provided. We got engaged on this trip and considering going back to wed here! Loved every minute of it! Even is low/rainy season! Zero complaints.

Room Tip: Very private and spread out. Lots of stairs but great for work out!

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute, even though there was a lot of rain ('twas the season). Our concierge, Alejandra, let us know when the best opportunities were to do what we were interested in and took care of us in every way. Quick friendly transportation to the park, beach and Quepos was very much appreciated. Our tour guide for the park and the farmer's market, Gama, was exceptionally personable, friendly, and informative, answering SO many questions and going above and beyond to see we enjoyed each experience.
The food at the restaurant was superbly prepared and very tasty, offering a taste of local cuisine and the wait staff was very friendly, personable, and helpful every day.
The multi-level pool with water cascading from one area to another was enjoyable with little private nooks to have cocktails and tapas poolside, We were visited there by a group of 4 raccoons there that were cute and friendly. Other wildlife viewable around the property include monkeys, sloths, toucans, many macaws and birds of all types. The flora and landscaping is also quite gorgeous!
Such a wonderful place to chill and relax, and go on some fun adventures as well! Bueno!!

Room Tip: High floor corner suites with rooftop patio offer privacy and beautiful views

Another amazing visit to Gaia AND during the Green Season. If you don't mind some evening rain (in general, this time of year), the area is so lush and breathtaking. Everything is blooming and you're never without something incredible to see. A special "kudos" to the incredible staff at Gaia on this visit. We were there during Tropical Storm Nate. That evening the Restaurant Staff and the entire staff at Gaia did not skip a beat. Dinner continued (packed Restaurant La Luna). Despite the 80mph winds and torrential rain, everyone was having a great time and the staff was as calm as calm could be.

I've been coming to Gaia for 10 years now and there is always something new, refreshed & above & beyond. Can't wait til my next visit.

Special thank you to Boris for moving mountains (literally) to get us back to SanJose to make our flights home.
