The friendliest staff and general manager ever!

We're a family of 4 (with 2 kids aged 6 and 8) and had the pleasure to stay 5 nights at Shana By The Beach, Hotel Residence & Spa, in July 2019. Hardly ever if at all, I experienced such friendly, helpful, polite and nice staff including their general manager! No single exception! From the first to the last minute of our stay, they made us feel welcome and at home. Our room with a huge balcony overlooking the treetops and the ocean, comfy beds with very good matrasses and a spacious bathroom was heavenly. As was breakfast, which could be chosen from a menu, in addition to the buffet. From the hotel, we could observe monkeys, sloths, iguanas with scarlet macaws flying past when we were lazing in the pool. To cut a long story short, we spent 5 unforgettable days and nights at Shana By The Beach and are incredibly grateful to every single staff member and their general manager for making our stay so special. THANKS HEAPS! And all the very best to you, your families and your hotel!

Our staff will be thrilled to read your review. We are so happy that you enjoyed the accommodations, dining, all the wildlife on the property and the service. It's exciting for us to read such comments about the large rooms, the nice beds, spacious bathrooms, comfortable balcony, and tranquil jungle and ocean views. We are also very glad you enjoyed the buffet breakfast and hopefully had a chance to experience our famous wood-fired pizzas and amazing seafood dishes. Hope you and the family were able to enjoy the direct access nature trail to Playa Biesanz Beach where the waves are calm and it's a nice place to soak up the sun, snorkel or just hang out on the beach.

Excellent Resort for Experiencing all of Manuel Antonio

This resort is a 5 minute, scenic walk from Biesanz beach, which is great for relaxing. Staff is accommodating and helpful in planning and coordinating activities. Location is a 5 minute drive from bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. Breakfast menu is great. Pool is well kept and large. Monkeys will show up on your balcony, which is great.

Shana hotel in Manuel Antonio is the best.

My girlfriend and i spend the best time ever in Manuel Antonio. We stayed there one week. It was calm and anti stress. The hotel has its own Beach playa biesanz with a beautiful access and an amazing walk through the jingle, like 3 or 4 min. But we also went to the main Beach at Manuel Antonio, see pictures. Honestly we prefer Playa biesanz, no waves, clear water and not crowded. The rooms are 5 star and the staff for us was 10 star. We felt in paradise and we already miss the Shana, que Manuel Antonio and all the people we met there. We already decided to go back in the high season, so see you very soon in December.

DO YOU REMEMBER SEPTEMBER

We have been at the Shana Hotel September 2019 for 3 days. The property was amazing and everything was nice. The hotel was not full, just few customers ,I guess the low season. The staff was very friendly and the service was perfect. we enjoyed our stay and we hope to go back in the very near future.

third time already

This is our 3rd time in Costa Rica and at the Shana by the beach hotel. The property as usual so beautiful and i must say much better than before. Rooms are renovated, new comfortable beds, garden is so nice and the staff always the same. The new Hit is the direct access to the best beach in Manuel Antonio Playa Biessnz.
