“Adventure off the beaten path”

Just did this tour couple days ago. It was awesome! Not for everyone - some fairly strenuous hiking involved. It was so worth it. Staff was really professional and fun. Really friendly. This place in high up in the middle of the rainforest - we took the hummer and views were amazing. Physically challenging climbing and rappelling. Cool Tarzan swing and free fall was great. Pleasantly surprised that this tour was not large and commercial. The owner did everything in a way that does not damage the environment. Should definitely check out this tour. And the lunch at the end is great home cooking while they show you pictures and DVD with option to purchase.

“Great Fun for Adventure Seekers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2012

The day began with a good Costa Rican breakfast at their office. From there we took a van ride north into the mountains which seems like the middle of nowhere. This is where the adventure begins as we took the humvee (chains on the wheels) up the mountain. The scenery on the ride up is great. We then took a short hike to their camp in the jungle where we put on our equipment.
The zip lines, rappelling, Tarzan swing and free fall into the water fall are great fun. When we returned to camp we had a snack of cookies, tea and fresh pineapple.
The staff was fantastic, Ramirez was the leader and was professional and educational even the conversation on the ride back to their office was interesting and stimulating.
The lunch back at the office consisted of chicken, rice and beans, cole slaw and plantains, it was very good.
I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to any adventure seekers.

“One of the best adventures we have done.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 February 2012

We went with 12 of us; two families including adults, 20 somethings and teens. We all had a blast. My wife had a fear of heights and she conquered it on this adventure. We started out with horse back riding and all had a blast. Then we walked through the rain forest to experience the feeling, sights, sounds and smells of this pristine rain forest. Then we did various zip lining, repelling, hiking and more. The course got progressively better and better. The staff were all genuine, caring and fun loving and helped to make the adventure very positive. This sort of adventure is the things people put on their bucket lists. The snacks were great and the meal was excellent.

“Greatest Time Ever!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2012

This truly was the greatest trip ever! This was our second zip line tour while we were in Costa Rica. While the first one was quite fun and would do again but I was glad we did this one second. If we had done this trip first we wouldn't have enjoyed the other one near as much. The day started with breakfast at their office, then a van ride to the middle of nowhere (at least it seemed like it). Then to go up the mountain, you have the choice of Horseback ride or humvee. We did the horse back. The horses know what they are doing so it is good for even the least experienced rider. Then a short walk to their camp to put on your equipment. The zip lining and repelling were the best, as well as the freefall into the water. The Free fall is optional but the drop is only about 15 to 20 feet. The scenery of the mountains and waterfall were to die for. Our staff was very professional and Ramirez (the only name I remember) was great. When we got back to their camp we had a snack of cookies and fresh pineapple. After our snack, we took the humvee down the mountain to the van which took us back to their office for lunch. The food at breakfast and lunch were both very good. The whole trip from the time we left our rental (07:30) to the time we got back to the rental was about 8 hours. All in all, this really was the greatest trip for the money and I would not hesitate do it again next time I go to Costa Rica.
