We loved pretty much everything about this hotel, starting with its unique artistic and environmental-friendly design, ease of access, parking and use. The hotel is a short driving distance from the park Manuel Antonio entrance, and many restaurants and shops.

The hotel has an art gallery that shows local artists which we happen to like very much, and there is very tasteful mosaic art throughout the hotel. It is readily apparent that the architect took a pride in making this space unique, welcoming, airy and culturally distinct.

We had a room on the ground floor adjacent to the open hotel terrace. The terrace has a plenty of comfortable seating and is surrounded by a jungle scenery where you can relax and listen to or spot birds, frogs, and other animals.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, showcasing the same design as the terrace. The room has large bathroom with very spacious shower, the sink is in the living space. There is also a microwave, coffee maker, fridge and safe, as well as basic utensil to eat at an outdoor private area adjacent to the room. The bed was comfortable though quite firm. The air conditioning worked very well.

The staff was super nice, knowledgeable and accommodating, and did not hesitate to share local information re secluded beaches and activities. There is a swimming pool and jaccuzi, and beach towels upon request.

Breakfast was included in our room rate. There were several choices to select from every morning. The food was plentiful and very good.

As we checked out, we received a lovely token present from the hotel. We recommend this hotel without hesitation and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We very much liked the room we had which was one of the two adjacent to the hotel terrace.

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The rooms are lovely and the hotel makes you feel you're in the middle of the jungle. The lounge area under the trees and pool under the canopy are real highlights, and breakfast was delicious. The only slightly strange thing for us was the art gallery/ reception area which felt quite uncomfortable to walk through after being in the pool. But still had to give it 5 stars because the pool & viewing areas are really special.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms are huge, breakfast was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Mabet gave us excellent dinner suggestions. I will definitely stay here again. The monkeys visiting the property was a bonus.

The was the best hotel i've stayed in. The rooms were clean and felt luxurious, a great shower, and added extras of coffee, milk and popcorn being stocked. For those needing to stay in because of mozzies there was a tv channel showing films in English. And there was free wifi. The restaurant next door made the best Pina Colada i've ever tasted (you don't have to eat), and they come round the pools from 3pm offering a cocktail happy hour.

The pools were lovely and the jacuzzi refreshing. None are heated but the sun warms them up throughout the day and facing the jungle you feel surrounded. Blissful.

Opening your room door everyone has their own balcony part, overlooking the jungle. The monkeys weren't around for us but you could be lucky, and will definitly see them if you visit the national park (an absolue must- we visited twice and still didn't have enough of the beaches and wildlife. snorkling good here as is monkey spotting or chasing the howlers call!).

There is a seating area near the breakfast room which is lovely to just listen to the call of animals. The breakfast offers 8 options. The traditional Costa Rican breakfast was the best and great to set you up for the day, and the fruit plate was HUGE!

It's very humid and we would hang out our swimming clothes which was a bit pointless! But the owner offered to tumble dry our clothes, all you need to do is ask. This was a great touch. Anythign we needed was on a 'all you need to dois ask' basis. And when you leave they offer a gift from the art gallery which made this hotel all the more special.

Walk 2 mins up the hill and there's the bus stop. It's a 10 minute journey to the main Manual Antonio area and the buses are often and cheap. Just pay as you board. The bus passes a zip line which is fun and then you can walk down the hill to the first part of the beach or walk on to the main street.

Finally, this lovely hotel is next to the ultra expensive GAIA hotel. However they allow you to go to their bar high up the hills. Do this for the sunset happy hour and you'll be in awe. Just look it up.

Oh, and there's a resident cat. What more could you want? Book it

- We stayed for 9 days as a couple. It was mainly for couples although there were a couple of families.

Room Tip: I believe all the rooms would be good. We stayed in the one by the outdoor seating area and it was l...

This was a really cute hotel with nice clean rooms & a secluded modern pool. The breakfast included was delicious each morning as well. It is a block from the public bus stop that will take you to Manuel Antonio. The restaurant next door had pool service which was an added benefit. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
