We ended our three week vacation with five nights at Casitas LazDivaz. We loved it so much that we skipped out on a prepaid night elsewhere to remain one more night, soaking up its beauty ease and more. Sara was a gracious friendly helpful host. Her restaurant recommendations were right on. The Casitas are beautiful. Handcrafted teak ceilings, attention to detail, beautifully crafted wood everywhere. Each morning we were greeted with room service of coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. We lounged on the hammocks right on the beach, used her bogey boards to play in the ocean, walked on the beach and explored. The beauty of this setting is that it's a ten minute beach walk to town if you choose to walk, but it's private, quiet with a feeling of isolation it a proximity to town. Can't recommend strongly enough. Go! Stay! Enjoy! We went as guests and left as friends

My boyfriend and I ended our week-long stay in Costa Rica with two nights at Casitas LazDivaz. The property and the casitas are beautiful, and so thoughtfully made. Sara really has thought of everything to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. There's coffee and orange juice every morning, boogie boards and goggles to borrow, and hammocks under the palm trees to nap on.

The best part about staying at LazDivaz though are the sunset beers on the beach. We were able to chat with Sara and the other guests as the sun made the sky pink and it slowly became night. Our last night, the whole group of us were getting along so well we decided to keep the party going and all get dinner together at the cafe next door (delicous).

This place was a treasure! I hope to go back someday.

My husband I stayed twice during our 5 weeks in Costa Rica this Jan/Feb. Sara was a great hostess.
The casitas are lovely. The hammocks on the beach are so relaxing. It is a very short walk to town.and many restaurants.
I highly recommend Laz Divaz for a true vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at Casitas LazDivaz at the end of our two weeks Costa Rica tour. Our beachhouse Marlène Dietrich was really cosy Soft and luxurious towels.
Chilling in the hammocks, swimming, walking to town (great atmosphere during samanta sana!) We had a really jummy pizza at Mama Gui! And went nextdoor to absorb the tico pura vida atmosphere and great breakfasts and parvo roja for lunch.
We went birdwatching with Sara and Jojo in the woods.
Sara booked our adventurous horseriding tour. She was a truly great host!
Unforgettable! We didn't want to leave!

Room Tip: Marlène Dietrich is wonderful!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Tina Turner for six lovely nights this March and it was perfect — even more beautiful than the pictures. Like our host Sara, the property is a work of art. Beautiful colors, plants and sculptures/furniture made by Sara herself out of fallen branches.

Though we ate every meal out, it was nice to have a little kitchen in our room. We used the coffee maker to brew the deliciously strong local coffee (provided by Sara) and drank it on the porch every morning. The shower/bathroom were great, there's room to unpack/hang clothes, a mosquito net to keep buggies out, and two fans at night to stay cool. Nature is everywhere, and Sara respects it. We were woken up by howler monkeys one night and had a baby lizard spottings in our room, but we loved these quirks. You should too if you want to stay here (or anywhere in Samara, probably).

The location is also perfect — a 7 minute walk on the beach to all of the great restaurants. Sara provides a map with all the Divaz-approved restaurants and vendors, which was extremely helpful. Though we did go rogue a couple of times. :-)

On top of everything, Sara was a warm, funny and gracious host who kept us entertained and comfortable at all times. And if you like dogs, host pup Jojo is one of the best. Moreover, if you like a cozy, charming beach vacations, you'll love LazDivaz.

Room Tip: Tina Turner if you want a kitchen!
