My wife and I spent our two week honeymoon at Casitas LazDivaz with Sara and JoJo and Elga. We could not have asked for more perfect accommodations, or a more gracious and wonderful hostess. Sara genuinely cares about her guests, and works very hard to ensure everyone has an amazing stay. Elga keeps the Casitas sparkly clean, and has a fun sense of humor! We stayed in Tina Turner, which I would definitely recommend, especially if you are there for more than a few days. The kitchenette is more than adequate for cooking full-on meals, and the room and the grounds are beautiful. Casitas LazDivaz sits on a private drive, which you cross to get to the beach. Sara puts hammocks out under the palm trees every day. The sunset ritual was our favorite, and we looked forward to it every evening. JoJo is the absolute BEST, and gave us our daily dose of pet therapy so we didn't miss our own furry buddies too much. Sara is very familiar with Samara, and her map is the ONLY map that matters! She cares deeply about, and is actively involved in the community, and is well known and loved. Samara itself is a beautiful, small town that sits right on the beach, and the people there are welcoming and just absolutely wonderful. When you go to town, you must go to see Alan, our favorite pipa man! His pipas (young green coconuts full of delicious coconut water) are the coldest. He sits with his colorfully painted van on the street calling out "pipas frias!" I guess all I mean to say is that you should visit Samara, and you should definitely stay at Casitas LazDivaz when you do!

Room Tip: Tina Turner has a kitchenette - toaster oven, microwave, two burner stove, refrigerator, sink, and v...

We ended our three week vacation with five nights at Casitas LazDivaz. We loved it so much that we skipped out on a prepaid night elsewhere to remain one more night, soaking up its beauty ease and more. Sara was a gracious friendly helpful host. Her restaurant recommendations were right on. The Casitas are beautiful. Handcrafted teak ceilings, attention to detail, beautifully crafted wood everywhere. Each morning we were greeted with room service of coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. We lounged on the hammocks right on the beach, used her bogey boards to play in the ocean, walked on the beach and explored. The beauty of this setting is that it's a ten minute beach walk to town if you choose to walk, but it's private, quiet with a feeling of isolation it a proximity to town. Can't recommend strongly enough. Go! Stay! Enjoy! We went as guests and left as friends

My boyfriend and I ended our week-long stay in Costa Rica with two nights at Casitas LazDivaz. The property and the casitas are beautiful, and so thoughtfully made. Sara really has thought of everything to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. There's coffee and orange juice every morning, boogie boards and goggles to borrow, and hammocks under the palm trees to nap on.

The best part about staying at LazDivaz though are the sunset beers on the beach. We were able to chat with Sara and the other guests as the sun made the sky pink and it slowly became night. Our last night, the whole group of us were getting along so well we decided to keep the party going and all get dinner together at the cafe next door (delicous).

This place was a treasure! I hope to go back someday.

My husband I stayed twice during our 5 weeks in Costa Rica this Jan/Feb. Sara was a great hostess.
The casitas are lovely. The hammocks on the beach are so relaxing. It is a very short walk to town.and many restaurants.
I highly recommend Laz Divaz for a true vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at Casitas LazDivaz at the end of our two weeks Costa Rica tour. Our beachhouse Marlène Dietrich was really cosy Soft and luxurious towels.
Chilling in the hammocks, swimming, walking to town (great atmosphere during samanta sana!) We had a really jummy pizza at Mama Gui! And went nextdoor to absorb the tico pura vida atmosphere and great breakfasts and parvo roja for lunch.
We went birdwatching with Sara and Jojo in the woods.
Sara booked our adventurous horseriding tour. She was a truly great host!
Unforgettable! We didn't want to leave!

Room Tip: Marlène Dietrich is wonderful!
