We spend several months in Sámara every winter. Even though we have a well-equipped kitchen in the apartment that we rent, we come here at least once a week. The food is of high quality and the staff is friendly. They remember us from year to year. There is a great view of the beach and the sunset from every table. They accept credit card sometimes and at other times they do not. Wifi in Sámara is a little "spotty". We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that we meet.

Owned and operated by locals, this place is the spot for beautiful fresh seafood and cocktails. I loved the Camarones, and we ate there 4 or 5 times in just two weeks!

The seafood chowder with cream was delicious and worth the visit - it contained prawns, squid and a white fish. Don't come for the service though, the waitresses look as though they can't be bothered and it's almost impossible to get their attention even when you're ready to pay. I couldn't crack a smile from a single one of them.

This little beach restaurant is wonderful! I had their specialty, for 5000 colones, which was "sopa de mariscos", seafood chowder. It was THE best bowl of chowder I have ever had, bar none. Ask for the cream based one. It was huge, and chock full of seafood, fish, and even a full crab, albeit tiny!
