Beautiful resort with individual cabins, beautiful grounds & gardens, fantastic views of the volcano and their own series of thermal pools cascading down to the regular pool and pool bar. All the cabins are located so that each one has a good view of the volcano. Enjoy sitting on the cabin porch in the morning with coffee and a volcano view.

Hello KanB

We are very happy to know you had a great stay.

As you mention our property has a priviledged location overlooking the Arenal Volcano and each unit has it's private porch to relax and contemplate the Volcano and surroundings.

Thank you

All detached cottages are tucked in amid exotic flora on a hillside, offering maximum privacy and direct view of the famed Arenal volcano from every single porch.Quite a sight to behold especially with the volcano shrouded in the early morning mist. The entire ground is beautifully manicured, with winding path leading to different hotsprings.
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes by taxi to La Fortuna, a small town worthy of a walk and have a bite at one of the many restaurants, or pick up some drinks or snacks at the supermarkets.

Lovely little wooden cottages, every one of them has its own private bathroom and a little balcony with two rocking chairs. The view from the balcony goes toward the volcano which offers different picturesque scenery all the time. Wonderful romantic residence.

There is also a good restaurant on the ground.

I've been to my share of hot springs living in California, But none have a view and a surrounding like this hotel. The gardens are amazing and the pools are designed perfectly to fit them. And most have a view of the volcano. Not quite hot enough for my taste but worked out well for the kids and others. Monkeys and birds came and intertained as we relaxed. The food was good... not great but that's kind of how it is in Costa Rica. The service was good. The rooms had air conditioning which can be some what rare. This place was perfect. "Vacation Todd" -that's me rated this hotel about 86 out of 100 because of the overall experience. I loved the gardens, the hot springs. the view of the volcano, and the location.

Dear ToddSFBay_11

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience at our Resort.

At our Resort we have a 12 pools where the Thermo Mineral hot-spring water flows through our pools. Starting at high temperatures and slowly cooling down.

The design of our pools gives our guests the posibilities to enjoy the pools are their desired temperature while contemplating the majestous Arenal Volcano and natural surroundings.

We would be honored to host your vacation again.

Thank you

The hotel is right next to the Arenal Volcano, which gives you a great view when it's not cloudy. We only stayed here for one night and it was more than enough. The staff was very kind and helpful, but we had to put on unnecessary plastic bracelets on, the room was right next to the street so there was a lot of noise from cars at night, the room was too old fashioned and not very pretty and the beds and pillows are not the most comfortable. The breakfast that was included was pretty complete, but basic and not very tasty. I don't think we would stay at this hotel if our visit was for more than a night.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms farther from the street.
