“Super Fun”

Reno's International Mini Golf & Amusement Center
Reviewed 4 January 2012

This miniature golf is a true gem. Each hole is themed after a different country and has a unique surprise. Our kids completely loved it-especially the giant volcano that ends the course at the 18th hole.

We went to La Fortuna for a business trip and happened to drive by the Reno's mini-golf. The place just caught our eyes. We tried it and it turned out to be really fun! It is a fantastic place to go with family and friends. The course features a unique decoration representing 18 countries of the world in a very inovative way. I specially liked Venezuela as it was beautiful and challenging! We really loved it and it will be back any time we are in this area of the country. We were sorry not to have a camera with us to take some photos...

just opened in September 2011, Reno has a great mini golf course for all ages filled with different music for each hole, a great sense of humor and lots of small details. Owner is a really nice man. It is sheltered, so you can play in the rain. They sell water and soda, but you can also bring your own beer or wine. Highly recommend it.

The owner told us he was aiming to change mini-golf as we know it with motion sensors, music, and animatronics. The course is incredibly challenging, needs a bit of polish but good for a cheap night out. Don't forget your own case of beers.

The brand new amusement center in La fortuna on the way to see Arenal Volcano is a great place to spend some time. This is what this town needed. It sure beats hanging around a bar at night smelling other peoples smoke. We had a blast and it's the best $10 i ever spent in La Fortuna, that is for sure. The international theme is kinda cool with each hole representing a different part of the world and culture. Open day and night 7 days a week. I preferred the night because of the lighting and ambiance. The whole course is covered by roof, so you can go when it is raining instead of staying cooped up in your hotel room or a bar. This is a great place to bring a date, the wife or the kids. We will definitely go back when we are in La Fortuna again. We usually visit the area 2-3 times a year. I would imagine that this place will do very well. It is about time someone did something like this for the community. Definitely not your typical "tourist trap". I didn't have my camera that night, but here is their new website .
