Huge - even by SEC standards, this is where the University of Alabama plays their football games. Go on a day when LSU, Auburn, or some other notable team is the opponent - the atmosphere is electric and it is a true American spectacle. Beware and be prepared for high ticket prices and a horrible parking and traffic situation!
You just have to be Crimson Tide fan. Recent winning seasons has added to experience. Tailgating on the Quad before home games will absolutely add to your number of friends. Good people, great fun, wonderful memories!
National Champs!!! Easy to navigate and exciting campus activities on the "quad" outside of the stadium prior to games.
They have signs everywhere that umbrellas are not allowed but the day we went there were many people entering the stadium with umbrellas. I brought this to the attention of several ticket takers and they did not seem to care. Umbrellas not only block the view of people behind them but pour water in the persons lap. We had seats on the 50 yard line but were so low our view of the game was blocked by the standing players. We watched the entire game on the tv monitor in the stadium.
