While this place may bill itself to be a 3 star accommodation on some sites, let me warn you it is not. You could hear cats literally fighting, was it in the alley or in the building hard to tell, really I am not making this up. Rooms were fine and decently clean, but in no way is this much more than a hostel with a guaranteed private bathroom. It is really dark inside and outside in the alley, just not what I was expecting given the hotel rating. For a little more you can find a full service hotel fairly close.

Thai hotel located at small alley, only few minutes walk from road. It located in a good location, 5 minutes to MTR, 20 minutes walk to The Bund Riverside, easy to find food. Good room, good service, good price.

We stayed here 5 nights while in Shanghai for the F1 Grand Prix and sightseeing. The room was good, clean and comfortable and the service friendly, but what really made the place was the location. Super easy walking distance to the metro, shopping streets, and the Bund. This proximity meant we had a great view of the tower form out room ( but I think we were lucky, it's likely not every room has this).

If you arrive by metro, take exit 6 and it's a two minute walk. As others have said it's on a side alley, not the main road -- but there's a big sign and a large blue light to help you spot where to go.
