Several times in Shanghai, but the first time in this Hotel. .

The room was very clean, but the furniture a little bit damaged at some points. They offer rooms with shower or bathtube. Unusual but very nice, most of the
Rooms have a balcony (city or park view).

Breakfast will be served in the restaurant (2 floor) with a huge selection of asien and western style food.

You will also find a small Gym on the ground floor. Staff is very helpful to assist you with everything.

Located / Arrival:
after arrival at Pudong International Airport you can take the „Maglav“ (high speed train, 10min ride) for 80 CNY roundtrip, transfer to subway Line 2 (yellow line) for one stop (3 CYN) and you will fall into the Hotel by using Exit 4.
Very simple and fast for Shanghai(15-20min)

Across the hotel you will find the „century park“ , huge green park incl. a lake and some activities.

In walking distance you can find the Kerry Park Complex, providing many restaurants, shops and a big supermarket.

Fair Price , great value

I asked for a non smoking room but when i checked in the room reeked of smoke, carpet was dirty. i asked to change to a different room but they said the hotel was full. The next day i requested to check out instead of staying another night- and they decided that since i’m checking out early, they would add an additional 15% to my bill. I ended up paying 2600 RMB for one night at this second rate hotel. i was absolutely appalled. would advise travellers to avoid.

Dear Guest,
Please accept our apology that unable to do room change on hotel full house situation, our staff had done the necessity to do guest room re-cleaning trying very hard to meet your specific expectation. Semi-Con exhibition held on March 14 - 16, 2018 all hotels nearby SNIEC sold out a week before at average rate 2,500 - 3,500 per night; your booking is a package deal with min. night stay guaranteed hence early check-out will not enjoy 15% discount offer. Once again we are so sorry unable to meet up your need.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Dorsett while in Shanghai for the East China Fair at the New International Expo Center which is about 15mins away by foot.
The hotel is pleasant, staff is friendly though their English is very basic. Room was fine and clean - if you can, get the Park View side rooms which have a better view than the City View side.
The breakfast is not the strong part at this hotel - especially for Western food - fairly limited choices.
Overall fair value for price paid, considering that Shanghai hotels are quite expensive.

We chose this hotel for its convenient location, close to Maglev and literally steps away from line 2 subway. The price was right. The breakfast was good, with all the options I like-- made to order eggs, many hot Asian and western dishes, fresh fruit, baked goods, good coffee. I liked the decor, kind of cottage Asian. However, the big negative for me was the condition of the carpet and drapes. They were heavily stained. Everything else in the room was very good-- bed, bathroom fixtures, furniture all in fine condition. The nasty condition of the carpet and drapes turned a great experience into a so-so experience.

Room Tip: Ask for Century Park and Pudong skyline view.
