Loved this hotel for the people and the view. The staff was very helpful. Everything was within walking distance or a short drive - Yu Gardens, Oriental Pearl Tower. Oliva planned a river cruise on the Bund within short walking distance from the Indigo. The restaurant on the 6th floor served wonderful breakfasts as well as dinner with an amazing view at night. While the Char Restaurant was not open yet, we look forward to our next stay at the Indigo on the Bund.

I stayed for three nights right before the hotel officially opened to the public. The staff was diligently putting on finishing touches and making sure that everything was set.

It's one of the most incredible views you can find in Shanghai - especially if you have a corner room. The vibrant decor is minimalist chic meets traditional - with lots of local flair and neighborhood touches. The bed is one of the most comfortable I can recall ever sleeping in and I'm highly picky about bedding and mattresses.

Loved the breakfast at Quay - a fantastic buffet that is whimsically arrayed - almost like being invited to dine at someone's home (albeit a foodie/chef's home!).

I would absolutely stay here again - would love to see it after it's officially opened.

I wish I could have stayed longer at this great new boutique hotel in Shanghai. The designers have done a fantastic job with the rooms and the bathrooms. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I ever had and the staff were excellent and helpful.

If you want a view of The Bund then this is the place. Just opened, it will only get better and it's pretty good now. The rooms are lovely; just the right combination of Shanghai style with all the new amenities you could want. Beds are super, view is amazing, but quiet and serene. Pool is great and when ' Char ' the signature restaurant opens this month it will be even better. Service needed a little work but everyone was trying hard and they will no doubt improve. close to the new ' Cool Docks ' area with great restaurants like Table One and Stillers. Highly recommended.

Wonderful bathroom, great views of the Bund/Pudong (the best of any hotel in Shanghai?) and lovely design touches throughout, eg: the presentation of the Japanese breakfast - so clever.
