Stayed a night for a quick getaway from town life. Check in was not fast nor slow.. Only mid service.. Got a room on the most top floor but due to it is a heritage buildings, the roof insulation were not that good as my room are hot even a/c temp on 16d. Breakfast was simple food & not much of choices. Overall the ID were very much heritage but other than that I think not much to praise this hotel.. Except location & the ID decorated. Price wise I got a deal from online only cost Mr rm214 included breakfast.

The hotel is near to Jonker street. Walking distance like 5 mins. There's private car park for hotel guest. Breakfast can be better. Very limited choice only. The hot water temperature almost burnt my daughter. Super hot. When turn a bit become too cold.... turn another side become too hot. Besides from this.... all ok.

Went with family and third time staying here (used to be BabaHouse but got tired of finding parking place). Booked a normal room but was given (an upgrade I think) a much bigger room. The room is big (for the price I paid) and nicely done up. Everything looks very new and working beautifully. My family loved the amenities kit (which includes a sewing kit - rare in this day). Parking wise no problem as they have their own guest compound/s.
Only thing is that breakfast choice is limited (I think the menu has not changed for years!). No big lost since there are so many things around the area where you can have breakfast.
Overall a good place to stay and explore Jonker Street and the surrounding area.

Room Tip: If possible take room 11X (these are much bigger) although you will need to walk up a flight of stairs to reach the room.

Stayed here with a group from Singapore on our way to Ipoh. Melaka is a must see place and this is the hotel to stay in if you want authentic Peranakan style. The Heritage area is a short walk away and Jonker Streep is just behind the hotel.

I enjoy staying at this hotel. Its just mins away from Jonker street. Hotel are nicely decor with Nyonya theme. Room are clean. Staff are friendly. Just that the hotel doesn't have parking space but they do have designated car park for hotel guest nearby. Overall is the good stay. Will stay again in near future.

Room Tip: Stay at highest floor to get city view.
